Everything was great, arrival, check in. Shirley was absolutely the best receptionist in Dubai. Sauna and steam room were relaxing. The hotel was super clean. Bed and pillows are made of premium materials, and staff is very helpful. The breakfast was also amazing.

The hotel staff were friendly, and I appreciated the anniversary cake arrangement. However, my overall stay was negatively affected by the poor air conditioning in the room. I contacted reception regarding the issue, and maintenance was sent to check the AC. I was informed that the problem had been fixed, but the room remained hot and uncomfortable. I contacted reception again and was told they would adjust the air conditioning system remotely, but the room temperature never improved. I expected the hotel to offer a room change, especially since I had already explained that the issue was ongoing, but no effective solution was provided. In addition, the check-in process was slow, and the breakfast area was also uncomfortably warm. Unfortunately, the lack of a proper solution to such an important issue had a significant impact on my stay.

First off, the hotel is located in a good place that is close to most of Dubai’s spots. All individuals I dealt with were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and overall, it was a luxurious experience (hotel-wise.) Unfortunately, I booked it with breakfast and dinner, and this is where the entire experience went wrong. I checked online before booking to make sure the restaurant was a good one and once I arrived there, the first day of dinner was not an open buffet, it was à la carte. The food was good though. This was disappointing because I’ve visited 100s of 5 star hotels; not a single one didn’t have a buffet, yet this one didn’t. The food choice was limited as it was a menu. The next day’s breakfast was nice but nothing special, again limited food choice but not the worst thing. I was told dinner would be a buffet this day so i arrive there at 6 pm to find 8 dishes spread out, in the “international” buffet, with absolutely no Arabic food and a bunch of Indian food. No pasta only some white rice. Probably the worst dinner buffet I’ve ever seen. Next day’s breakfast was similar to the day before. Again, limited choice but acceptable. When I book a half board booking, I expect (from a 5-star hotel) a very good restaurant. This restaurant seemed like it was there just because it had to be there.
