Being Eid Holidays and 90% plus occupancy the hotel staff managed the guest well at pool or reception or even breakfast time.

Everything about this stay was disappointing. From the moment I arrived there was issues with my booking. I waited nearly 3 hours to get checked in. The floor manager (Muhammad) is so rude and should not be working with customers because he has no people skills, especially under pressure. The hotel is understaffed. Housekeeping walked into my apartment, and opened ALL the room doors while we were sleeping. The worst part of the whole experience was the food. I had booked half board but I skipped more than half the meals because it was terrible. Breakfast was overcrowded and the kitchen staff could not keep up with refilling. Dinner was the same food for 4 nights, even after asking the chef to change it up. Tasteless, cheap, boring food. Even my kids didn't want to eat there anymore. The only highlight was that I was given an upgrade (because it was part of my booking). When checking out I was told I needed to pay another 300aed because they undercharged me at check in. I'm sorry but Novotel will never see me again and I will not recommend it to anyone.
