Nothing special about the hotel, friendly staff but honestly disappointed at condition of things like carpets. Currently staying in one of the apartments, have asked for the walls to be cleaned repeatedly but nothing gets done, either the house keeping is understaffed, or they just don’t care.

Very nice room on 39th floor. Food HB was all the same every day, variation is quite big, but menu should be different. On New Year we have been confused a bit, when we was informed that for New Year salute and for New Year drinks we should pay separately. By the way it was clarified after, all was included in price we originally payed. It will be nice to provide a kind of progaram for New Year event or any other events for guest rooms, we had 0 information from hotel and all we asked by ourself several times with a different answers from different reception personnel.

Had an amazing stay, Aisha & Esther at the reception were great. Loved the upgrade to the apartment, it was beautiful. However, improvement needed on delivery of requests/items or services to the room. First night the apartment was not serviced, when I asked, I was told we had left a DND signage which we hadn’t. Requested for a queen size bed in my room but the two twin beds were joined and the same mattresses joined together leaving a gap in the middle of the bed. Also, the two separate twin duvet comforters were joined together, this was not practical. Called on the second day, I got a queen size comforter but the mattress was not changed.

It was awesome. The Camerounian security man at the entrance was extremely helpful as we're the other staff with my "handful children". The Hotel is getting a bit old, but it's still being well maintained. I was there rush hour...the staff at breakfast deserve an award for catering to the massive demand.

Reception staff told me that my city tax has not paid even i paid and he noticed the truth after holding me 10 minutes on my check in at 4.30 morning. On restaurant they left me from the queue and told me my breakfast is not included even it was and i am so ashamed between those people and holded me another 10 minutes till they notice the truth. One reception staff told me they can not do anyting to fix my wifi and wait IT till the morning but another one fixed immediately in the morning. When i call reception to ask for something none has replied and i needed to change and go down to tell something from 15th floor to interrupt my sleep. Even i make one reservations for two room i am not able to get one invoice for this and i am said this is impossible by your duty manager. These are Just some examples that i remember from my last two visit. Also i am making my reservations from booking but not able to get loyalty for this and there is no slipper on the rooms.

Big disappointment on arrival

Overall stay was ok, despite several times when Housekeeping Team for some reason did not leave towels after cleaning the room. However the big disappointment was on arrival when wrong room type was given to me. I’d like to highlight that my booking was made, confirmed and fully paid more than a month in advance. I particularly needed a unit with kitchen and washing machine as it’s a family stay for two weeks, and Sales Manager kindly assisted with the option of one bed room suite which was just right for me (thanks to Maria for that). Regrettably when I arrived - a regular suite (without kitchen or washing machine) was given to me. What is most disappointing is that at the reception I was not informed at all that the room type I actually booked is not available. Moreover I even showed photos to Receptionist (which I got from Sales before, as I was not able to see the room myself ), and I was told “YES, it’s the same room”!!! Having come up and realized it’s a different room type I returned to Reception and met Duty Manager when they admitted that one bedroom suite is not available and nothing better than moving me sand my family on the next day with free lunch offered, can be done. I explained that my booking was done few months in advance and due to long flight (about 15 hours), as well as 6 hours time zone difference - any moves on next day are absolutely not comfortable. This however didn’t change anything regrettably. To mention as well the fact that it’s extremely embarrassing in front of my family who know that that’s a hotel of ACCOR where I work myself. Talking about free lunch offered by the Duty Manager, when on the next day I came to the Restaurant to re-confirm that - there was NO information about it there. There was no clear explanation of the room case failure, except a comment, that it could be a reservation mistake, even though I showed the confirmation clearly mentioning the room type I booked “One Bedroom Suite”. Trust - this message will be considered accordingly. Thank you

Really nice, although we ordered an extra blanket which never turned up. Also, we had an extremely confusing conversation with the transport concierge, who just wasn't listening to what I was trying to explain. But overall it was really impressive.

My stay at the Novotel Al- Barsha Hotel was wonderful. It being my first time in Dubai I must say I was impressed with the hospitality of some of your staff. Rami and Alexis in the concierge department who always asked if everything was okay with a smile on. Abdullah in the transport desk who went out of his way to grant me a huge favor.
