We stayed at Novotel Al Barsha for 3 nights during our recent business trip to Dubai. The best thing about the hotel is the location & the room size. It's situated in mid of the business district (JLT) & the old city. 15-20 mins drive either way. Also walking distance to the nearest metro station. We had booked an executive suite but were upgraded to the 3 bedroom suite upon check in. The suite was a huge 2,600 sq. ft area with 3 bedrooms, 5 washrooms, a lobby & dining area, kitchenette, washing area & balconies. The beds were cozy & comfortable. Cleaning was done regularly. Only breakfast was a small let down as the spread was very limited as compared to othe hotels in Dubai. Otherwise the hotel was worth every penny.

The overall experience was good. The Hotel is well appointed and the staff is very courteous. However, the rooms do have a serious safety hazard in the low-lying, sharp corner above the stand with the kettle, which only serves as an encasement for the lamp. I suffered very hard knocks against that, the 3rd one literally made me see stars. I recommend that it is moved higher or all edges rounded off

Unfortunately, it seems that we did not meet all your expectations especially when it came to the safety hazard in the low-lying, sharp corner above the stand with the kettle . We would certainly look into that and will consult with the related departments into fixing that , but I cannot tell you right now what is the action to be taken specifically as it still need consultation , if this issue need to be resolved it will apply on all rooms as a standard. but please rest assured that we will be taking action towards its. Day one check in. Enter the room. No shampoo/shower gel. Ask for it. Did not come. Ask for 3 round they say they are looking for it. Ask for 4th round came with one piece of each. Total took an hour to bring in this items. Strange that these are not in the room upon check in and need an hour and 4 call to get it done. No replenishment done too on subsequent day.
