Enjoyed our visit overall, as Dubai is a lovely place to have a holiday. At times found the hotel a bit noisy. OK there was building next door, but that won't last forever, but the music within the hotel grounds booming out wasn't exactly what we went on holiday for. Sorry, bear in mind we are a couple of 'oldies', so maybe that explains it. The facilities for children looked excellent.

Hotel is nice, really lovely staff that are polite and eager to please. In my opinion the staff make the hotel what it is, they have obviously been trained well and are competent in their work. I wouldn’t call this hotel 5 star but you feel very welcome the minute you walk in.

Emirates were not cancelling flights so we had to have our holiday or lose our money. It was not our first trip to Dubai so we were not too disappointed about staying at the hotel. Considering the circumstances staff were very accommodating. Table service for breakfast was good but the hot food was cold in more than one occasion. Hash browns were cold to the point that we wondered if they had been cooked enough as it was a different taste to just being sat around cooling down. We did mention this & head chef did come to see us god the next two days & made sure our food was hot (you put it in the oven to warm up) but food returned to bring cold afterwards. While it was nice that you took it on board, surely we were the only ones not to have had hot food. The lunch time menu repeated a lot of the dishes that were also on the evening menu. They were also too heavy for lunch time. We discovered by accident the restaurant by the beach & the menu for lunch was great. Lighter snacks that were suitable for lunch & a really good selection. We changed to eating there until it was closed. Considering how many dishes the main restaurant prepares for the buffet service, we felt that the offerings were very limited & repetitive. We understand that entertainment had to be cancelled due to the virus but we were sad that we were limited to sitting in our room. Overall we did enjoy our holiday but in limited circumstances. We felt we had to come as we’d have lost our money but didn’t feel the full benefit for the amount we paid. We would love to come back at some point & experience your full service but it will take us some time to save up again

Great for a short break

A short break to catch some sun and have a quiet few days. The Corona issues made life difficult but the hotel staff responded well. The all inclusive concept was good although the quality of the dining was not close to what is expected in a Dubai five star.

They made their guests top priority, despite having to make huge changes in such a short time and the amount of cleaning they did made you feel safer. We enjoy a lot our holidays in Rixos The Palm Dubai hotel. Only one minus was when we get back home, somehow I got campylobacter. It was food, pool water or birds on the outdoor restaurant. Hope you guys try to sort out where that bacterial came from.

We kindly would like to bring to your attention that hotel food preparation teams are following the HACCP standards which is required by the Dubai health municipality in order to maintain the food standards and hotel certificates. All the pools are tested by hotel’s quality and standards team 3 times a day in order to follow the standards required by the Dubai municipality. Also during your stay we had an approximate occupancy of one thousand guests in-house and we did not receive such concerns. The service round the pool was fantastic and the guys couldn't do enough for you whether it was serving drinks or finding beds to put in your preferred location. The guys at reception could learn from the team around the pool as we felt they could be a little rude, especially when we were trying to get booked into the steakhouse. It took some time and had to get some other staff to help us (special thanks to Pooja) before we could get booked in as it was very busy. Totally worth it though and very glad we got a booking as not only was the food fantastic, the theatre of the staff was amazing. We were very entertained and well looked after. The room was lovely and very well equipped. Food was very good in the buffet restaurants and we also dined in the Italian one night which was beautiful and the food delicious. One small thing I did miss was a bar to sit at. At night the bar area was a service only so your drinks were delivered to you (no complaints there from me), but it would have been nice to sit at a bar.

Overall good. Excellent staff, location is fine, AI drinks package good, food is good enough but booking into the specialist themed restaurants is difficult and good be a wider choice. Overall however good value and a decent hotel.

We have visited the UAE many times but this was our first stay in an all-inclusive resort. As you'd expect in Dubai the hotel was impressive and impeccably clean. The staff were all courteous wherever we encountered them. We had a room on an upper floor with an impressive view of Dubai. The food was of good quality and very tasty but very much the same every day. The A-La-Carte restaurants are nice but get booked up and we were never able to access the steak restaurant which was a shame as this seemed to be the most popular. Beach is clean and sandy, a little busy at times but not overcrowded; beware of Jellyfish in the water. Plenty of sun loungers and shades for all. Generally a very impressive hotel and one we would happily return to.

1st Time in UAE but expected better

We booked Ultra all inclusive premium room and there was nothing premium about it. The building works below ruined any chance of a nice balcony relaxation. There were no robes, slippers in the room and I only found out the day we were leaving as the guest on the next balcony told us. Now for the best bits the hairdryer cable was joined/ taped together with electrical tape and the bar next to the main pool got the ice for drinks from a wheelie bin. I highlighted these to the manager on checkout who took notes and apologized and promised to make our next stay more enjoyable but I dont think I'll return. We stayed here on a two night stop over returning to the uk From Australia costing us £1400 for two nights - I expected better. I received better service from lower graded hotels in Australia

Amazing, fantastic hotel my only advice is a better entertainment program, whilst I say this I am aware I came out of season so that may be the reason. As I came with just me and my hasband this was no problem for us as we had already pre booked night out, when I return id like to see a better evening program. the stake house was definitely the best food I had in the whole time I was in Dubai and we did eat out a few time we went to STK and a few other places non compare to the stake house at Rixos, the staff were also incredible a big thank you to Mr moustache (sorry can’t remember his name) also Mr D with his amazing 007’s drink it was the best, as well as it bar man who done my drinks to perfection with the best card tricks. You all definitely shared the love and we appreciated it. Will definitely be returning with my 4 children at end of summer. Thank you again for the best Hoilday I’ve had.

Spacious living room and the balcony was very convenient. The bedroom was very conveniently set up with some very comfortable pillows. Loved the deep soaking tub. The food in the all day dining was fantastic. I would've been happy if there were more vegetarian options but the few that was available were well prepared. None of this luxury or the space would've mattered if it wasn't for people. Shijo, the restaurant manager was a gem. Undoubtedly one of the greatest guys I've met so far. His attention to detail, the manner of conduct and the smile adds a lot to the restaurant. The guy is an asset I'd say. The second was Sandeep from housekeeping. the attendant who serviced my room during my stay. Bright smile, quiet but quick and perfect service and he did go out of his way to get me a room service menu.
