We stayed at the Rixos palm in November. Having previously stayed at the Rixos Palm twice before and being our fifth visit at a Rixos chain in just over two years. We knew what high standards to expect. I have to again complement all the staff there from front of house, housekeeping, waiting and bar staff in all areas. The real disappointment was guest relations! Not once in our seven days there did a member of the guest relation team smile or acknowledge us as we passed them by. They always seamed to be interested and attentive to guests of there own nationalities ! For a 5 star hotel, that’s incredible poor! The other disappointing fact was that we were not allocated the room with a view facing the beach area that we had previously had on our visits. We book five holidays a year and we have to say, this was the only holiday we were disappointed in this year. Knowing this now, that we could be allocated rooms in other areas, we have decided not to make this an annual visit as we had planned. Maybe your booking staff should look at previous room allocations for repeating guest, to ensure they want to keep coming back ?

Really enjoyed staying at the Rixos. It was a great location - beach was lovely, and the pool was warm. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Room was large and well appointed with a very comfortable bed and the staff were excellent!

We were in your hotel second tine. In not sure if we will come also the third time. Food, staff, pool and beach is perfect. But we have had a problem in our room - terrible smell from the canalization. Not only in the bathroom and toilet where the smell was of course most untensive but in the whole room. I have complained every day. Every day the staff has clean the canalization and few hours it was ok, but in the evening it smells again and during the night and early in the morning it was really terrible. You had no free room to change. This camalization smell could be the reason why we won’t visit the hotel again.

Enjoyed our stay my only negative was our room wasn’t cleaned till late pm 4pm occasionally 5pm, which Was very inconvenient because we had to wait in the reception area till it was ready!

Very enjoyable holiday,fantastic staff very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. However first 5 days of our holiday spoilt by faulty air con unit in room 1141 also faulty safe. Constantly having to report issue with both,was told by air conditioning man that it was faulty so could not adjust temperature,was set on 18 which during the night we were freezing.After complaining to reception yet again we were finally moved to 1509 which was a lot better everything working as it should. Such a shame we had to put up with it for five of our seven night stay.

We have been in your hotel already the second time. You keep standards and as several times mentioned "guests feel like home". Unfortunatelly (already for the second time already) we have changed room the second day as the prepared room did not meet our expectations. As we have stayed only for 6 days, this was rather disturbing. However this was the only small complaint.

Efficient pick up at airport followed by a quick check in process set the tone for the holiday. Whilst the hotel isn’t the newest around it still seemed in good condition overall. Restaurants on the whole were good particularly the Italian where the staff were excellent. Fish Restaurant had a good setting and was matched by decent service levels, although a somewhat limited choice if you were on the Ultra All Inclusive deal. The steak house meat was good and the service was novel but good. All staff were polite and helpful and happy to help where possible.

As someone who has stayed in different hotels in Dubai before, Rixos the Palm is a little below the comfort and hotel features of Dubai brand hotels and it is time to renew. Some of the classic all-inclusive system where all of us live in hotels in Turkey, which is seen here as a result of the problem. Food quality and variety, unfortunately, under the Rixos in Turkey. On the other hand, especially the restaurant chef Eda Hanim and Room Division Manager Selcuk Bey, the employees are really interested in the customers. Nevertheless, the incomprehensible attitude of a Turkish employee we encounter at the reception also leads to the dilemma of which of these was Rixos employees.

Was amazed by the hotel, the views, the beach and the hotel room were the best I’ve seen. We just felt couple of things lacked it being perfect. Lack of storage in hotel room. Couple of days we had no hand towels left. Drinks service on beach was hit and miss and very slow , possible due to not enough staff. Otherwise was perfect, we ate in steak restaurant and Italian and both were great. I would recommend.

A magical stay

The staff and service at this hotel was just short of exceptional. As always, there are areas of improvement, but mostly this was an excellent stay. Emilie and a few of her team members made my stay at this hotel incredible. She helped me plan a magical morning allowing me to propose to my girlfriend in a memorable and beautiful way! She helped decorate a cabana with flowers and even recorded the proposal from afar! In terms of the rest of the stay, it was excellent. The L'olivio restaurant was excellent with the bartender being stand out. The beach staff - particularly Fred - were also great! The final evening we were there (Thursday night - it seemed some staff struggled with the volume of people - it did seem slightly busier than the rest of the time, but mostly the service was excellent.) Overall the trip was excellent.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 9 days during our holiday in November 2019. While the weather in Europe is mostly cold and rainy during this season you can for sure enjoy the summer in the winter in Dubai with temperatures around 30 degrees. I've already been to Dubai multiple times and can say this hotel is one of the best Dubai and the Palm Island can offer. Check-In was very fast and unproblematic, special thanks to receptionist Mr. Usman Malik, who welcomed us very friendly at the hotel and was able to give us a nice room which exceeded our expectations. We had a premium room with view over Palm Island (sea view) which was really fantastic. Even during main season you'll always find a nice place at the pool or beach, the staff here is always happy to help you find your favorite spot. Breakfast and dinner buffet offers a gigantic range of local and international fresh food. Also cleanliness of this this hotel was outstandingly, special thanks to Mr. Prasad from housekeeping. One negative point might be the hotels position at the end of East Crescent of the Palm, you might take 20-30min to the Dubai city center. But a shuttle service to the Emirates Mall is available free of charge, furthermore the Nakheel Mall will open near the hotel very shortly, so all shopping enthusiastics will get their money's worth. All in all I can only recommend this hotel - nice beach and pool side, excellend food and drinks, very friendly and obliging staff - I think this is all you need for a holiday that you'll never forget.
