I really have almost nothing to claim about. one thing that due to Pandemic there were no good choice of wines in the restaurants. Aqua - is the poorest thing on the whole, very tired and not interesting at all, just bar on the beach... But Toro - amazing. I like beach service, we had B17 - that is good selection made for us. The gays were very helpful. Rooms tired as for design and maintainance, but very clean. All safety things are fulfilled, personal good trained. we enjoyed everything.

Extremely poor Checkin experience, great service afterwards

Had an extremely poor experience at Checkin with Alina. I had booked a premium sea view room. I was checked into a room opening up into the wall of an adjacent block. Issue was not resolved despite highlighting to Alina through bellhop Mudassar. It was only resolved when escalated to Kataria in guest relations. A 30 min phenomenally unpleasant experience of being moved from one bad room to another more reminiscent of a fourth tier roadside motel as compared to an experience one would expect from a premium property. The service was excellent subsequently including Shijo, Atul, Bipin and Reda at A La Turca and Raees at L’Oliva. This service did compensate for the bad Checkin experience. However it was an extremely horrible start leaving a lingering poor taste in the mouth bad enough to ensure that I am never going to be returning to this property again. And be watchful when I check into a Rixos or Accor ever again.

Very good hotel, a bit older building but totally compensated by the staff and amenities on site. The pool and beach, the restaurants, the gym, everything was perfect. I can only recommend this hotel, we will be back!

Once we arrived to the hotel the receptionist told me he would change our booking to the higher floor as it is better view. It was our first time so I wasn’t sure which floor would be better. Thanks to the helpful receptionist we loved the view. Now we know which floor to book next time.. We enjoyed unlimited drinks all day. Kids favorite was milkshakes! ) Lots of variety food to choose at La Turca but the staff who helps to put the food to our plates doesn’t know English and was hard to communicate. When I ask to put little they put too much or opposite.. When I had questions regarding simple ingredient in the food they couldnt answer also.. But we still managed, not a big deal.. We had once dinner at Turquoise restaurant and met a staff Yusuf was very kind and helpful. I liked that place was more peaceful and less crowded. And the service was much better than La Turca. We had also dinner once at Toro Loco, it was unique experience. The manager was kind and helpful. He was himself helping to serve the food also. The steak was yummy. Next to the pool was fruits and ice cream place my kids loved. Overall we had great time at Rixos., thank you!

Overall experience was great. There were few little remarks that I hope you’ll find them constructive. 1. The air con unit on the outside is very noisy. 2. Some of the grass turfs on the lawn were obviously changed recently and were with different colors. 3. Very strange balcony lighting fixtures. 4. Waiters in the restaurants were a bit too slow. 5. The location is a bit remote.

Disappointing stay, partly because covid-19 seeks to have made it impossible to provide the types of comfort normally expected from a luxury hotel.

Good points: - Facilities such as the pools, beach area and beach bar/ restaurant (I chill) - The room: large room (65m2) with good view - F&B service in the I chill restaurant, special mention to the waiter named Cappuccino. Bad points: - The receptionist was very stressed, gave confused explanation on the hotel services and facilities such as we left the checking not knowing what was included or not in the "Ultra all included" package or where the different facilities were located. - The guest relation was our worst guest service experience in our life... The woman who was there literally looked down on us. She laughed at us when we simply asked about the restaurant. For instance, we were asking about the "Argentinian steakhouse" when she interrupted us laughing (not in a friendly way) to tell us that this was not Argentinian but just a classic steakhouse. Her attitude was arrogant and rude. This guest relation experience was disastrous. - F&B services: Italian restaurant: The guest relation woman sold it to us as a not classic Italian and with a view on the sea... Here a small deception, as the restaurant has no view, is an italian restaurant as we see everyday in Europe and the service was ok. A la turca (All Day Dinning restaurant): Except the large choice of dishes offered, both service and cleanliness did not live up at our expectations. Sometimes there was not enough staff and servers did not show good will. We were often asked if we were leaving the restaurant while just going to serve us again. - Finally the check out: not a luxury standard one. It was rather a fast check-out rather than a regular one. Right after we paid, the receptionist told us "ok bye", no thank you or asking if we needed further assistance whereas we still had requests for him. Indeed, we wanted to ask some printings and we felt that it was bothering the receptionist who was also reluctant to help us. To sum up, we were deeply disappointed by the service offered in a supposed 5-star hotel. We felt we did not get the service we expected because we were a young couple. This experience discourages us from returning to a Rixos.

Is was a superb week in Dubai, we liked the hotel very much, our first room as without sea view but changed to another room with good view, so much and good food (all inclusive), room service was excellent, very good price value

Was allowed early check in to prepare the room before my partner arrived. All the staff greeted us with a small and willing to help. In the steakhouse restaurant, we were able to be seated by Eissa, Andrew and Margaret, even though we had no booking. The experience was amazing and all the staff were very welcoming. The setting was beautiful and Naresh on the beach was amazing. He knew exactly when to come over and bring us a fresh drink. There was a mixologist in the hotel from the saadiyat location (I cant remember his name) who was very polite and made the nicest cocktails. He came over to ask how he can improve them for our next one. Not something you get often and it was fantastic. Lastly the guest relations team were amazing at handling any queries we had. All in all, fantastic stay and hope to go again some time.

greeted great staff at door and customer manager great service, lady that checked us in was poor 1st said we had not paid which we had had to call the bank then she said we could book the table for evening meal from the room went up stairs to book then told we had to come down and do it in person and only one 9pm slot free !!!, sat on the beach and within 10mins had 3 people trying to sell me something when all I wanted to do was relax diving, hair salon and the photos to much in the space of 10mins, food was very low standard in the steak restaurant, my wife stayed with you before and booked your 5 bedroom apartment with friends and said how nice the food was and this was not the case this time I had 3/4 eaten my steak and had to remind the waiter your my French fries, beach was great tho and well kept, but your barman in the sushi bar needs to learn how to make cocktails. I know its Covid back I felt the standard feel well below what I would expect for a Hotel of your standing. I am sorry to say we will not be coming back I am very sorry to say, but I wanted to point out what a shinning star your customer manager is he made me smile.

The room was lovely and the beach/pool. There was only 1 member of staff that was friendly, a waiter, most other staff did not have enough English and did not understand us. They were not friendly or forth coming, which was off putting. The steam room was broken on our second day and there were 5 instead of the 4 person capacity let in. The food was just ok, the cocktails from the beach bar were not tasty and watered down ( pina colada not creamy, the gin fizz not fizzy). mixed messages from different members of staff was frustrating. so....overall....the stay was just ok.

We got some troubles at the very beginning: the junior suite was not as per view described and the overall room needed a clear & deep renovation. Hence we wanted to leave the hotel, but then the staff provided us a new room and took good care of us. so we stayed and we enjoyed the hotel and its brilliant & amazing staff (from the room cleaners to the restaurants and beach we ve never met such funny, kind and gentle hotel staff). The suggestion I can give you it’s to start renovating the rooms because from a 5 stars hotel on the Dubai Palm you would expect much more. It’s a pity because the hotel position, the facilities and the atmosphere are just wonderful
