We were so happy with the room , food , entertainment and the hotel. But unfortunately , we had a an issue when we wanted to use our aquaventure free tickets on the day of check out , they never said we can’t use them on the day of check out . We were very disappointed and the kids too. We had to take them and pay for it :(

The facilities are good & the staff wonderful. The rooms are uncomfortable - there’s too many lights shining for a good night sleep. The control panels for the lights constantly flash a bright blue light, the phone illuminate and it’s not ideal. The rooms are also very loud from people in the corridors or doors slamming shut. Not what I expected from rixos as this isn’t an issue with any of the other palm hotels we’ve stayed at. Food choice was good at the buffet for adults however for children you need to seriously amend what you’re offering. I was actually appalled - chicken nuggets & chips for breakfast?! It’s really not difficult to make healthy options available - breakfast muffins, hidden veggie pastas, pastries, fruit, yoghurts. Milks with no nasty ingredients in it etc. so simple but yet you have it so wrong. Also the carnival food offering was really bad. I didn’t like the fact you couldn’t book any of the restaurants unless you were staying 4 nights minimum, very misleading when advertising ultra all inclusive. We had to beg guest relations to book us in for my husband’s birthday meal. When we got into the restaurant it was half empty which made no sense. Kids pool should open before 10am, most children wake at 6 so parents have lived a full life by the time the slides are open. So all in all I thought it was just okay, given the price of the stay and how much it fluctuates in the winter I wouldn’t recommend for what you get back. The sleep being huge.

We recently stayed at Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites with our family and overall had a very nice and relaxing experience. The property is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the kids had a wonderful time enjoying the facilities and activities throughout the stay. However, as vegetarians, we were quite disappointed with the food options available. Usually hotels in Dubai are very accommodating when it comes to vegetarian meals, but here we faced a lot of difficulty finding good vegetarian choices during most of our stay. The only dining experience we truly enjoyed was at the Italian restaurant, where the food and service were much better for vegetarians. Other than the dining concerns, the overall stay was pleasant, the staff was courteous, and the family-friendly atmosphere made it enjoyable for the children. With better vegetarian food options, the experience would have been much better.

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel from 24th February to 4th March. We have nothing but praise for all the staff who did their very best to put us at ease when the Air Defence System sprang into action. Special mention to a Waitress called Dipa and two Bar Staff on the beach called Maheswara and Widitatama. The food and choice of wine at this hotel is excellent. Hopefully the troubles will end soon and we can go back.
