We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room and facilities were outstanding. The staff were very welcoming. Abu showed us to our room and we were extremely pleased with it. The beach was only a stone’s throw away and there were plenty of fresh towels waiting there for us.

Acceptable location and good facilities, but a lot of noise

Overall it was a pleasurable experience staying in this hotel. We enjoyed good breakfasts, cozy and well-equipped gym, comfortable beach access and facilities. However, room windows lack soundproofing, and during the entire day and night we had to listen to traffic noises. Balcony door does not prevent noise at all. Also, it was not very comfortable to dry clothes since the room has high humidity and there is no way to dry clothes on a balcony.

Great location if you need the beach and shopping mall/metro. It’s the Palm but you won’t spend lifetime in traffic jams like you will if you choose other hotels further from the mainland (spoken from experience). Very nice breakfast and buffet dinner, good selection of food for in-room dining as well. Hotel staff was very helpful and provided us with both baby cot and chair. The only thing that made our stay a bit uncomfortable was the heavy Kate night traffic noise on the weekends and regular but still very loud night time traffic noise on business days (it was Ramadan month so late traffic is expected). My advice for those travelling with small kids us to choose another time for visit or ask for a no-view room away from traffic noise (we didn’t ask for another room because it was very uncomfortable to pack and unpack again with a small child).
