We had a very enjoyable stay at the Novotel Paris in Belleville which is in a great location & the rooms were well maintained, spacious & comfy. The thing that detracted from a great hotel experience was the breakfast which was chaos - not enough tables to seat all the guests, not enough staff to clear the tables that became free to sit the guests waiting, not enough food for the no of guests. Only one coffee machine worked, which led to long queues at the coffee station. The poor man running the breakfast operation was completely over his head and couldn't cope. We were there for 3 nights after Xmas and it was the same each morning which was a very stressful start to the day.
