I have mix feeling about my stay. The pro: nice decoration room, the staff is exceptional friendly from the reception to house keeping team, location is near the metro. The cons: there is a renovation on going which mean there maybe drilling noise during the day, only 1 lift so you may have to wait a long time for it, there is no mini fridge in the room although they will provide if you ask. However, the room design has no space for the fridge so it will be put on the floor in the room. Hotel location is in resident area so it is far from main tourist attraction ( around 30m on train or longer in bus).

Great location just across a metro station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is well located and offers all a business traveler requires. The rooms are newly refurbished and quiet. The breakfast is decent. Staff are friendly.

Very comfortable room ( privilege room - very good bed!)). Reception (Tiphaine and indeed all reception staff we met) and other hotel staff ( Helene) were lovely and helpful. The renovations didn’t impact us as such (There was no noise). The soft beverages (complementary with Privilege room) were very nice… It would have good to have some other services ( e.g able to order wine and snacks) however this wasn’t a service there. I don’t know if this is due to renovation work or whether Mercure Bastille doesn’t offer this at all even pre-renovation. Soft drinks and beer were the options for the Accor drink benefit. The wine bottles in the breakfast room were empty and remained empty for the duration of our stay.🫤 We didn’t have breakfast there but it looked like there was a good range available. So, our impression was that Mercure Bastille was handling the renovations very well, with no inconvenience to clients. The Privilege room was sufficiently roomy. And the best experience, were the staff. The location didn’t suit us hence the rating given (I should have done my homework better).
