Well located but we wanted a room suitable for 2 parents and 2 teenagers. We were given a room with 2 double beds which was not ideal. I was expecting a zip apart double in the bedroom to make 2 singles but didn’t get that.

It was in a great location near a famous cemetery, good cafes, shops, laundromat, and a Wednesday market. it was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and there was a nice dining room table, and the kitchen was fairly well-equipped. However, they layout, with the kitchen on the way to the bathroom, was awkward, and also stole what would have been a nice view of the cemetery. The stove was challenging for us U.S.-ians to use.

Nice apartment that did get a bit hot at night but the incredibly friendly staff were very happy to help by providing fans. Very neat and tidy room with a capsule coffee machine (bring your own) The breakfast buffet was very nice and the lady in charge of that was very happy to help with anything. We stayed for a big birthday in the family and could get to most major landmarks in about 20 mins from the metro. Pere Lachaise cemetery is staggering in scale. Land and Monkeys deli (chain) has lots of veggie options nearby.

I chose this hotel based on the images and description presented at the time of booking, a bright room with a view over the rooftops of Paris. This was essential to my decision as I had planned a one week stay focused on rest comfort and enjoyment. At check in we were received by a lady at the reception who assigned us a room on the second floor facing an inner courtyard. The room was dark with very limited daylight and a staircase directly outside the window. This was a clear and significant deviation from what had been advertised. I pointed this out immediately but was told that the hotel was fully booked and that no other rooms were available. We went up anyway but it quickly became clear that the room was completely unsuitable, heavy enclosed and far from the environment I had booked and paid for. I therefore returned to the reception and explained the situation again clearly referring to the booking details and my expectations. Only then after further insistence it suddenly appeared that another room was in fact available, we were given the key to room 503. This raises an obvious question why were we given incorrect information from the start. Why did the lady claim the hotel was fully booked when this was clearly not the case. As a guest one expects honesty and transparency. If a hotel offers rooms of such significantly different standards especially regarding light and view this should be clearly stated at the time of booking and reasonably reflected in the price. Let me be clear I am an old sparrow and not easily misled. Perhaps that image fits especially well here in Paris not far from Édith Piaf’s final resting place, a city where beauty and shadow exist side by side. But as a guest one should not have to navigate between these extremes in this way. While I do appreciate that the situation was eventually resolved it does not change the fact that the stay had an unnecessarily negative start and that my trust in the hotel’s handling of the situation was already compromised.

Comfortable stay; in a very quiet location which great in Paris. We slept very well and convenient to have a kitchen for longer stays. Bathroom fully renovated and fairly big for Parisian standards. Perfect for our family of four.

We stayed there in two rooms with my wife and my parents. We arrived even earlier than planned in the morning, and the staff was very accommodating right away; they put us in a room without any hesitation. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they have what one needs. The kitchenette is great for breakfast. It is convenient to two metro lines, and there are some (unassuming) hidden gems right around the corner for food. The hotel is on a side street, which made it really quiet for Paris. And, again, all the staff were very pleasant and accommodating; they just made the stay much better, and I would definitely go back to this location or recommend it.

The inside of the building and the rooms is very basic but perfectly functionable. At first I found it quite depressing, on top of which, our room was overlooking the cemetery. Within 2 days my wife, 8 year old and two cats were loving our stay. Primarily the warmth and kindness of the staff- every single one of them - we began to really appreciate the beauty of the view and peacefulness of the place and now that we are in another Adagio, newer and trendier, we are really missing our 'home' at Philippe Auguste. Please note we are being housed by our insurance company due to a massive plumbing issue in our building.

Spacious apartment, clean and well located near to the metro. Very quiet for Parisian hotel!

The interiors are simple (alike at Ibis Hotels) but clean and functional. Staff is very friendly and there is a nice water dispenser in the hall. Public Transport is close by

The staff were really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from line 2 of the metro and next door to the fascinating Pere Lachaise cemetery. There are several lively cafes nearby, a bakery next to the metro and a number of supermarkets within a 6/7 minute walk. The room is spacious by Paris standards, with a dining table and desk (useful if you have to work). The shower was good. The decor is a little tired and dated, but nothing horrendous. The kitchenette was adequate - but not as well provided as other Adagio aparthotels I had used (no coffee machine, for example). I would recommend for those on a budget wanting a longer stay.

Nice place

Thanks to an upgrade to a topfloor appartment, we had a pleasant stay. Roadwork noise did not disturb. The apartment was clean and roomy with a view to Père-Lachaise. The Kitchenette is small but adequately equipped for a short stay. One can call for any missing utensils. The only downside is a missing electricity outlet on one side of the bed.

The hotel is near the metro although it is located at the back street and requires to walk up a little bit. Calling uber is easy but has to walk down the Main Street. My room can see the famous cemetery and I did pay a tribute to the tomb of Chopin. It is away from the famous tourist attractions but if you know Paris well,it is still convenient.

Staff were pleasant and helpful, but the building was cramped, breakfast was only a few items and certainly overpriced, and the whole place had an unloved feeling. Sufficient for a night's sleep but not more than that. Beds (including sofa bed) were comfortable however.
