Location and room was ok. Very noisy in the morning with jackhammer outside hotel entrance. I wanted a sip of water from the water fountain near the reception and the receptionist refused. Very poor customer service considering I paid for a 2 nights stay.

Dirty and choked sink which is not cleaned even after complaining. Towels not replaced daily. No basic items like kettle, toiletries etc arrogant staff (except 2 persons), no room service, negligible breakfast esp for vegetarians, very high rates, hidden charges .... the list goes on.

Hotel is just a few steps away from bustling canalside cafés and bars. Metro nearby and 10/15 minutes walk to Gare de l'Est / Nord. Rooms not as small as some in comparable budget hotels. Staff helpful.
