The bathroom door didn't lock. The breakfast had very limited choices. The fruits were appearing to be on the verge of being uneatable.

Dear guest, We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the lack of a lock on your bathroom door but we have removed it from all of our rooms. Concerning our breakfast, we offer a varied but not a limited choice as you indicate, in fact, you have at your disposal different kinds of fruit juices, hot drinks, milks, different kinds of cheeses, different cold meats, yogurt, cottage cheese and vegetable yogurt, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, sausages or bacon, compote, different fresh fruits and vegetables, different toppings, several types of pastries, madeleines with butter, pancakes, several types of bread , different jams, spread......so no it’s not a limited choice. We had a great stay at ibis Paris Canal Saint-Martin - the location was great, lots of lovely cafes bars restaurants around and a nice area to walk around. We were able to use the metro to get around Paris very easily. Also in walking distance from Gare Du Nord. All the staff in the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good, there was something for everyone without it being too over the top.

Great location, proximity to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord, however our bathroom was very small and it was near impossible to enter the shower. For a short stay, it was satisfying, for multiple nights the bathroom would have been difficult.
