Unfortunately we could not go to Paris as my partners sister died prior to our trip. I contacted the hotel and asked if we could transfer I stay to late July and pay any extra money. The hotel replied that although the terms of the booking were no refunds or transfers due the exceptional circumstances it should be possible and they would be in touch. On the day before we would have checked out we received an email from the hotel saying that there had been a mistake in the translation of the previous email and we would not be able to exchange our dates or receive a refund.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but were clean and comfortable beds and it was very quiet, slept well. Good location for walking to eurostar and metro also very close and coffee shop and small supermarket as well as cafes on the canal. Would stay again.
