The location of the hotel,was very central. The breakfast buffet was nice satisfactory. I found two members of the front desk,during my stay unhelpful and unfriendly.(one in particular inexperienced with dealing with guests)Their command of English was very basic .I usually stay at Ibis hotel in Europe (and even in Paris). And have had a positive experience, so was disappointed on this trip.

Staff were very friendly but I was allocated a room that wasn’t fit for renting. Everything was clean but yhe room barely accomplished the bed and was long overdue a refit.

After sampling the include breakfast, around the corner from the hotel I can recommend The Coffee. The Coffee. is the name of the place for decent coffee.

The hotel is located perfectly, in a quiet street but close to an important square with the metro around the corner. The rooms are very simple, quite clean. Breakfast is also simple but good enough. Really good quality - price ratio

I had booked this hotel just a couple of weeks before my travel date without checking the reviews. Once I saw the negative reviews I was so skeptical. Yet my experience was way beyond expectations. My stay was super pleasant, the hotel is 2 mins walking away from place de la republique which has 5 metro lines and 5+ bus lines. My room was clean and tidy. It is a bit small but it is normal compared to the average hotel room sizes in Paris. Staff were really helpful. Never had any lift issues as mentioned by some other people. The room was heated, the bed and cushions were super comfortable, hot water was available in my bathtub 24/7. The best thing in the morning is the smell of fresh croissant and pain au chocolat freshly baked for breakfast. If i want to talk about cons i would mention 2 points: 1- I was able to hear the footsteps of the people staying in the room above me.(but this was not an issue for me since i was out most of the time) 2- my room had no view But i would definitely reserve it again for my next trip.
