The hotel is clean, the beds are good and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is located in not so busy neighbourhood, but with a few very nice restaurants close by. We walked to the city centre one day, took the bus another day. It is also very easy to take the metro from the hotel.

We felt like the reception and the cleaning service are not working with each other. The first day of our stay, we left the room at 9:30 and came back at 13:30, expected the room to be cleaned by the time we came back but apparently it wasn’t, by checking with receptionist they did not know why was that the case and they asked us to wait until 14:00 for cleaning service to come as the deadline of cleaning each day is 14:00. We waited 20 mins for cleaner to come, but they didn’t, so we have to call receptionist again to remind them about cleaning. They came at the end. The second day, we were woken up by the cleaning lady at 9:30 morning, asked us to leave the room for her to clean, which I never experienced this kind of thing before. I asked her if the cleaning service can be later in the afternoon as said the day before by the receptionist, cleaning can be done until 14:00 - but the cleaning lady said no, it has to be in the afternoon. And the cleaning lady does not speak English, so we tried to negotiate with her by google translate to clean by 11:30. We were again be pushed by cleaning lady to leave the room at 11:30 for her to clean. What a ridiculous experience it had been, especially this is not the first time I stayed at ibis but the worst experience I had then. Hopefully the cleaning team and the receptionist can find a way to work with each other.

The staff are excellent, but the hotel is old, small, and extremely dirty. The bathroom had insects crawling on the floor like ants and looked like worms. The sheets were extremely dirty, with black stains, and the carpet was dirty with yellow stains. The room was full of dust and cobwebs. The days I stayed at this hotel were terrible. The shower was awful and had no shower stall or curtain; the floor was always wet, and there was mold around it. There were three doors in my room, which was very strange.

Our room was very stuffy as AC did not work well. Tried to open window but street noise was awful…all night long! Breakfast was great and staff very pleasant. We should have asked for a room in the back!

I had to personally clean the AC filter myself. It was full of dust and still didn’t cool enough. I had to open windows overnight. I slept ok. I was here to make videos and review the Hotel and Père Lachaise Cemetery. Location is ok.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and the location is excellent near a metro station and right in front of a bus stop. It could improve if the room had more hangers, if the tv’s internet connection worked, if there was an iron and if there was a small fridge. P.S. I’m a flight attendant so this observation comes from my experience of all the different hotels I stay in.

We chose this Ibis as we were attending a funeral at Pete Lachaise Cemetery. The location was excellent for us. The hotel was as expected very clean and well appointed. The staff were very helpful in all ways. A young member of staff helped us with everything we needed. We had a problem booking on the phone to go to the Bateau Mouche. He ended up doing the booking for us. He ordered taxis for us and helped us find a special place to eat in the evening.

The staff were friendly and professional and the location of the hotel was perfect for us! The hotel and our room had everything we require/expect from a hotel/hotel room. We would have given a 10/10 score if there hadn't been workers walking by our window on the 4th floor, due to the front of the hotel being covered by scaffolding. We will definitely be staying again, scaffolding or no scaffolding.
