2nd time I've stayed and it is a nice hotel, the rooms are small which is typical for a city centre hotel, but modern and have everything you need. My room this time had air conditioning that was not very effective so I was a little warm at times, but I will certainly go back.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. I'm a bit disappointed about the general experience (and I'm used to Ibis hotels, being a regular customer). We were told once we arrived that the room wouldn't be serviced at all, yet we paid the full price. We also had someone come into the bedroom to check something electrical (they were doing loud work in the corridor) as we left one day. When we came back at night, the TV was on in the bedroom (we hadn't turned it on at all). So it's okay for random electricians to come in the bedroom, but it can't be serviced? It sounds like Ibis is just trying to cut costs. The cherry on top was the human nail we found on the bed on our first night. Also, whilst the staff was generally friendly, we were followed by a receptionist one night who asked us "what we were doing" and "where we were going" and that we "needed a card" (as it we were thieves!) when we decided to use the stairs instead of the lifts as there were people queuing (only two people can share a lift because of Covid rules).

This place does not qualify as a hotel as it lacks the most basic services, like room cleaning. Until you are fully checked in you are not told your room won’t be cleaned during your stay. Up to you to leave wet towels and trash outside your door. Breakfast is poor quality and choice. Way understaffed. One single person at the front desk and only at times. You need to store your luggage yourself and pay for it. Unheard of. Dingy dining room. Rooms are bare at best. Way overpriced for what you get.

That being said, if particular points mean that you have not found our usual services, it is because the reopening of hotel establishments was only carried out under the extreme condition of the implementation of strict SANITARY PROTOCOL ; sometimes coming against the basics of our business, hospitality and service. As you express very precisely in your email, the breakfast service has been modified as part of this SANITARY PROTOCOL. We have made sure that this offer is not downgraded and remains complete. In line with the restrictions caused by the SANITARY PROTOCOL, we have implemented the measure that, during the stay of our customers for the health security of all, no one enters in the rooms as long as they are occupied by the guests. It goes without saying that clean linen is at your disposal at the reception. Once the customer has left, the room is kept “sleeping” for 24 hours. We cannot take any risk in this regard, whether with regard to employees, whose work procedures have been strongly impacted, or for our customers. We have made the choice of health security for all. Hope you will understand our requirement. Especially since the number of cases of contamination seems to be on the rise again at this very moment. This information is systematically given to all our customers on their arrival and on our website, a yellow banner calls attention to the customer to inform you that health safety measures have been put in place within the framework of our “Allsafe” label. We look forward to having the opportunity to receive you very soon under normal operating conditions. Please believe in the expression of our best feelings. Good location, but very small rooms, no closet, very basic, the staff are Friendly especially the young generation, also the manager was helpful with me, but I have an awful experience with the night shift guy at the reception, “ the old guy “ he was very rude he sleeps inside and when we rings the to open for me he came with a very agressif attitude like we are not allowed to enter at 1:30 am, and not only with me it’s happened with other guests, even with guests who just come to do check in late night, the ridiculous sad thing “ he told while I brought a friend to visit me: don’t do that or I will call the police!!!!” He chocked me with this reaction, like I’m doing prostitution and selling drugs…, I complained to the manager after that and nothing happened, minimum they could do an action or apology, it’s shameful to have this kind of attitude in ibis. At the end We are paying money for a service.

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Bastille; the hôtel is centrally located , room was quiet, staff was friendly and provided a courteous service . With COVID, room service was not available but we managed. The room could have been a little larger and the AC more efficient but we were in Paris to tour the city. The breakfast at the hotel was acceptable and there are many good restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood. Overall we had a good experience.

Easy check-in, quiet. Air conditioning is not working well - the room never cooled down and we did not sleep well because of that. There was a comforter but no sheet underneath so we could not even remove the blanket to sleep with just the sheet, when too hot.

My son and I stayed 4 days in a twin room and were extremely pleased. The beds are incredibly comfy and the room was clean and modern. Well located right near the great area of the Bastille, it was lovely. Careful not to go to Bastille on Saturday late afternoons though as there are often protests and demonstrations from antivax people and the ‘yellow vests’.

Hotel is strategically located within minutes of a few metro lines. Restaurants, cafes, and bars were plentiful on rue Roquette. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, and bathroom was basic but functional. Good value for the money if you book during a sales period. I would come back.

At the time of the stay there was some works done in the hotel (its facade) resulting in lots of noise. Limited services due to Covid-19 are understandable but this was not communicated during the booking.

I love staying at Ibis hotels and I love the recently renovated Ibis Bastille. Staff are friendly and super helpful with transportation and attractions. The hotel and rooms are spotless. I travel solo most of the time and I feel both safe and cared for. I highly recommend.

No tea making facilities in room No umbrellas available to borrow from Reception Breakfast tables were slow to be cleared on most days of my 6 day stay Café experience was very poor - meal and wine selections were not available although still shown on the menu - even though few patrons were present!

center of Paris so you cant go wrong everything at your fingertips or at least a short walk bustling area of Paris so it would suit young adventurous types, not too bad a hike to the airport which is a pain in Paris anyway

The hotel was great, perfect for what we needed. I arrived late at night and they accommodated my check in as well as an early check out when leaving. The rooms were small but comfortable and had the essentials. Breakfast was a little expensive since I didn't eat much but there was plenty of options available. Overall a great stay.

Me and my wife strated our vacation in Europe spending 3 days at ibis bastille. Temperature in Paris was 30*Celsius at night and the air conditioner in our room did not work at all!!!!! I complained every single day and people of the reception always gave me a different excuses even that it was a problem with the machine, when I asked to change the room. The matter is I paid in advence and stayed in a terrible room did not receive the service for what I paid. I want my money back. And you can check with the reception because I ordered to register my claim every night. It was unsound and unhealthy. I made a video showing the machine do not work at all.
