The hotel is well located, clean, and equipped with most of what you need. It's what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, but the price is quite high in comparison. The staff was friendly and helpful but barely spoke English which is a huge problem if you work in a hotel - lucky I understand French well enough to decode what they said. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, huge variety (toast, baguette, eggs, ham, cheese, jam, muesli, milk, croissants, pain au chocolat, salad, yogurt, everything you can imagine), so I would highly recommend it. What I would absolutely not recommend is the dinner, it was hideous. We got half board, so dinners were included in the hotel's restaurant. We got 35 euros per person which we could spend every night at the restaurant, which is a lot of money - we usually ordered for 15-20 euros per person, so of course it was a great deal for the hotel. With this money, you could eat a decent meal in any of Paris' restaurants I would say. A decent meal I say, because that was out of the question in the hotel's restaurant. We stayed there for 7 nights which means we ate 7 dinners. They had like 4 or 5 main courses that you could order, but on most days they were out of something - we tried to order apricot jucie, no, they were out of apricot; my partner tried to order steak (one of the very few main courses), no they were out of steak. I absolutely cannot imagine how a restaurant with this little variety can be out of ingredients. When we tried to vary dishes, the waiters were the most unhelpful. They treated the menu as some kind of sacred text. For example there was steak with vegetables on it as a main course, and another main course was burger with french fries. My partner tried to order steak with french fries, but they said, no, that's not possible because the steak comes with vegetables. Another example is that there were two main course choices specifically for kids: spaghetti bolognese and fish and chips. We tried to vary our dinners by ordering the spaghetti bolognese, but no, absolutely not, that was only for kids, and apparently for some reason they refused to bring it to us since we were not kids. I should mention the dish of the day which was usually something not on the menu, and I sometimes ordered that and was very satisfied, so there's that at least. But I had to figure out for myself what the dish of the day was, because it was usually written on a chalkboard in French only (in a hotel!) and when I asked the waiters they usually just read it out loud in french(!) and I ended up translating it for myself. In fact the waiters also spoke very little English and they seemed completely incompetent when we asked anything - for example my partner asked for a caesar salad which according to the menu was chicken and salad with a poached egg on top, and she requested it without the egg. They put the egg on it. Then I ordered a burger without mushroom sauce. They brought the mushroom sauce. My partner ordered a steak well-done. The waiter asked: steak red? Apparently he didn't understand what well-done meant in the context of steaks, which, again, is a huge problem. We had to tell him "not red, very cooked, very very cooked" to make sure he understood. One time we waited for like 15 minutes to even get the menu. Honestly, I saw the bad reviews of this restaurant online and I was like, it cannot be that bad, but yes, it was that bad. Listen to the reviews people! Or at least definitely don't pay for half board if you stay in this hotel - the restaurant is fine to try, but 7 dinners here were way too much. If I could, I would ask for at least a partial refund on this terrible half board experience when it comes to dinners, but I know nobody will care, because the restaurant's reply under all the bad reviews is some chat-gpt written nonsense, that they sorry you felt that way and hope next time you will enjoy their restaurant more - well, there won't be next time, I can promise that.

Dear Dzsénifer Artemis Kertész, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. However, we sincerely regret that your experience with our restaurant did not meet your expectations. I present to you my most sincere apologies We understand that the dinner service fell short, particularly concerning the availability of menu items and the communication challenges with our staff. We strive to provide a diverse dining experience and will take your comments under consideration for improvement. Your feedback regarding the language barrier is also noted; we will work on enhancing our staff's English proficiency to better assist our international guests. We will be crediting you with 3,500 courtesy points on your ALL card & we again offer our sincere apologies Corentin Lainé F&B Manager
