We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 adults with accor platinum status. Despite early check-in benefits, we were advised check-in would not be before 1pm. We were given a bottle of wine as both the welcome gift and to make up for welcome drinks. Breakfast is in the adjacent restaurant and is from the express menu, meaning high carb options such as croissants, muffins, banana bread and a beverage. No healthy items to choose from and certainly no fresh fruit / cereal, etc. There is no parking on-site and parking is a block away in a another building and can be validated at the hotel at $25/night. Basically, accor benefits are completely non-existent here and I wouldn't really recommend this hotel if you enjoy those. On the plus side, the location of the hotel is fantastic and only a short walk from civic centre and it is clean. 2 days would be my maximum stay.

Our room was quiet, nicely decorated and clean. As the Sebel is dog friendly, we took our young dog with us for a short break. The reception was responsive to our enquiries and were professional. It is a central location and easy to access. The only shortfall was our room missed a room clean on one day. Though reception were responsive to sorting out some amenities.

I really enjoyed my stay, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the space was nice to live in. I did find that even when I didn't put out the door sign to have my room made I would come back to it made sometime my belongings that I left on the bed would be moved out tucked under the bed sheet leading me to at first think it was missing. I did also have a small problem when I had left one of my medical applicators (a pipet) to soak in the sink while I was out and then came to find it had to been removed and j wa unable to use my medication(this was life saving medication or anything so it was fine I was out it). Apart from this small funny things I had a very nice time :)

I stay here every month. The last 4 including March stay I’ve had the freezer in my room iced over. The first 2 times, I used a knife and a towel from the bathroom to stab the ice out of the freezer, last month (February) when I went back down to reception, the lady put me in a family room as she knew the freezer was good to use. This month, when I went back down to reception to let them know the freezer wasn’t able to be used, they offered for me to put my ice bricks in their freezer which is not good for me as I leave before reception opens. So then I had to wait for someone to come and see it then he had to go back down and grab a bucket and something to remove the ice out of the freezer. I left home at 5:30am that morning, all I wanted to do was get in my room, unpack my esky and relax. Also, when I phoned and booked a room I asked the girl could she please ensure the freezer wasn’t frozen over, obviously this didn’t happen which is very disappointing when I am a regular at the Sebel and also a member. Also, when I checked in and paid for my room I asked the male worker if he could please ensure there is a note on my stay to email the invoice to me. I’m still waiting for the invoice. This is also a common theme where I have to phone up and request my invoice be emailed right away so I can process my expenses for work.
