For $300 a night this room was very average. The lifts had issues the bed had plastic sheets. The aircon was only in the living room.

Unfortunately our stay got off on the wrong foot and didn't improve too much. On arrival one lift was broken and the additional cost for parking was not clear at the time of booking. All kitchenware had to be cleaned before use which wasn't ideal after a long drive. Then being woken up every morning at 6:30a.m due to the light rail upgrade right next door. There was no mention of these works at any point during the booking phase, if there had of been we would never have stayed here. The shower could do with a full upgrade and we were lucky no one burned themselves before we ran out of hot water after the 2nd shower or 1st shower and washing up. The lift remained out of order the whole 6 days meaning it was often more than 10 minutes just to get to or from the room on the 5th floor.

Only having one lift working took me over 20 mins to get a lift down. The room needs alot of work. It is a far cry from the pictures advertised on the website.

The bathroom and kitchen were in poor condition and felt unclean and unmaintained. The kitchen barely had any cooking utensils and only one wine glass, 3 bowls, no oven trays. The air conditioner only ran at 30 degrees, despite turning it down, so we could not have it on for the duration of the stay. It was also extremely noisy when on. The bathroom fan did not work, there was mould on the window, the drain did not drain properly, flooding the bathroom floor each time someone showered. The head of the shower had to be pointed at the wall so the bathroom was not showered as well. There was only one very flat pillow each per person. The alarm clocks did not work, not did lamps in the second bedroom. The fitness centre was located in the basement car park level 2, which makes it unsafe for a woman to attend by herself. We had requested on booking to be close to another family as we were travelling together, which did not happen and we were advised that as the accommodation was fully booked, it wouldn’t be possible. There were no instructions on how to use any amenities or how to call reception for assistance, and the phone was not connected in our apartment for help. It did not feel like good value for the amount we paid per night.
