One room was nice. The other had a damaged bedside lamp. Not enough glassware. Left over food from previous guests left in freezer. Dishwasher didn't work Checked plugs and plugged into different PowerPoint but still nothing.

A very comfortable stay with wonderful spaciousness which led us to stay in ,dine in & just relax with our music DVDs....very enjoyable.A short drive to a perfectly located lakeside cafe for brunch which was a recommendation from the friendly front desk staff together with a print out of directions....

Loved the apartment and the desk service was good. Only thing that didn't work was Netflix (wasn't connected to the network) and issue wasn't fixed even after reporting.

After a very unhappy stay at another hotel we made the switch to Breakfree Capital Towers. It was perfect for our family of four. There was space for our two young kids (ages 5 and 2) to let out some energy without disturbing the neighbours (or us parents!) and they loved having their own room. There was a bathtub (again great for a trip with little kids) and a full kitchen. The front desk staff were so helpful and genuinely kind. Parking was 1/3 the price of our previous hotel and was easy to access. The hotel excelled at meeting the new challenges of COVID-19. All the pillows had protectors on them, as well as fresh linen and although compendiums had to be removed from the room an information sheet was given on check in, as well as sanitised pens for paperwork sign in.

Noisy and dirty

Staying in 1203, there was a lot of road noise each night (particularly Friday with car hoons out the front) and very noisy guests staying above us. Also, the room was very dirty, with kitchen floor unclean (cleaned it ourselves) and the lounge room was very stained. There was also insufficient cutlery and cooking implements as we dined in each night.

Checkin process quick and easy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was roomy and clean, hotel about 10-15 mins walk to city centre. Parking spaces were tight so if you have a large car, it’ll be tight.
