We had booked a 4-night stay in a Deluxe King Suite at this hotel. On arriving in our room, we found the carpet had a fresh very large dark stain in front of kitchenette area which we reported. Cleaning staff came to check and did a minor clean of the stain and said they were waiting for a professional cleaner to come next week. The next day after we had been out all day, we returned to find that our room had not been cleaned or towels changed. Reception told us that we had not ticked the box for housekeeping when making our booking and it would be an extra charge. We were even told that we had paid a cheaper rate for our room. We requested that our room be cleaned each day and towels changed and would not pay an extra fee as there wasn't anything on the All Accor booking site (or other sites that we checked) regarding the extra for housekeeping. Also, when we reviewed our booking, the room that we were given did not reflect the room shown on the All booking site or any other booking platforms. When we asked why we were given an inferior room and were then told they were fully booked and we could not be moved, despite the Suite opposite us remaining vacant that night. We were then referred to the manager, and he was adamant we were in the class of room that we had booked. There was a clear difference in the room we were in and what was on the booking site for a Deluxe King suite. So, finally on day 3 after further discussions with management we were moved to the room we had booked in the first place, according to the photos on the All and 2 other booking sites, including the hotels' own site. When we went for dinner in the restaurant, and after an hour wait, we had to ask about our meals as we saw other guests who entered after us were being served their meals. I would not stay at this hotel again as we had to spend 2 days trying to get the Suite that we had booked in the first place. It was a very unpleasant experience. We travel frequently both, domestic and international, and stay at a variety of All Accor hotels whenever possible and have NEVER been treated as badly as we were at this hotel.

The suite you were initially allocated is the same category as the Deluxe King Suite but with a different layout. We will work with our marketing team to ensure photos clearly reflect this. Regarding housekeeping, our “Stay Longer and Save” package—on average $15–$20 cheaper per day—provides weekly service, while our Flexible Rate includes daily housekeeping. Quiet, clean and easy to find this hotel ticked lots of boxes. There was a restaurant on site if weary travellers didn’t want to drive out. Rooms were comfortable, well maintained and ensuite was clean. Only things I wasn’t really happy about was the breakfast hot buffet wasn’t the tastiest, the bacon was tasteless and the beans budget. But the cost was acceptable for a hotel breakfast. Would be better if the price included a barista coffee for $25 a head.

Stay was very good and comfortable, rooms were clean and well maintained and of good size as mentioned in the website. However, room service could have been included in the package. But overall the location and stay was comfortable and good.

The room is very comfortable and well-designed - for rest and work. Staff are friendly. Well-located near light rail. Minor things: 1) there were no coat hangers in the room and I had to ask. 2) TV - there was a problem that did not get solved with my room (214) - only 3 free-to-air channels were accessible. No satellite and no link to apps. Even the radio channels were offline. I had lost of explanations as to why this was so (busy time, previous client damaged tv etc.) , but the actual situation remained the same.
