A quirky hotel of some historical interest. Other than this little to recommend it. First room abandoned with faulty air conditioner. Replacement accommodation dark and dingy. Reception staff unforthcoming and bistro uninspiring. Had to exit hotel twice during the last night due to faulty fire alarm. I would not recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful old hotel but there were a few things which were not up to the standard expected of a hotel in such a location. The courtyard area had a fair bit of rubbish on the ground, the bar had run out of Sauvignon Blanc and the presentation of condiments at breakfast was inappropriate……..a big knife stuck in a jar of Vegemite and jam etc. some guests had put the knife directly on their toast and same for the butter. There should be sealed portions.
