Staff are always so helpful and you certainly have the right people on the front desk. The meal in The Bistro was great and once again the staff were wonderful.

We had booked two adjoining pet rooms for our stay as we were staying for a wedding with our pups. This however, did involve quite a few calls prior to staying. The hotel called to say the same day we were due to let us know that the person in our room wanted a later check out at 4pm. We were travelling from Sydney with 5 dogs with Friday traffic so we were then unable to come and stay that evening. The hotel offered to reimburse us (which was good) but we were worried that the rooms would not be ready and we needed an early check in on Saturday so happily paid for the night before. The hotel then called again to mention one of the adjoining rooms that we requested lock had broken. So they upgraded my friend’s room which was nice and gifted a bottle of wine and changed us to another room The hotel’s staff are incredibly friendly and most helpful. The hotel has all the amenities and infrastructure but needs some love and a good lick of paint. Our room was comfortable enough with a little fridge and a nice big shower. They provided nice hand and shampoo products The pet room we stayed in with ‘grass’ however, was mainly dirt and our dogs kept dragging the dirt in on their paws as it had rained. This area had a little grass but is mainly dirt and some thistle weeds in the yard which had nasty needle like cactus leaves which hurt one of our pups. If this grass area was improved it would have made our stay much easier without wiping paws down - we had to wash our pups feet as it was making a mess of the floor in the room. If this grass area was improved it would be much nicer for the pups and humans alike. It would of made our stay much more enjoyable. The room service had a lot of pub meal type fare but no real healthy options. Still the serves were hearty and generous. The hotel was very clean, but looked a little tired in parts. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. There was quite a lot on offer for breakfast, which was good. And our pups were allowed to sit inside for breakfast which also made our stay much easier. We would stay again, but do encourage that the grass areas to be improved for the pets. Also secure parking at the rear was very good and accessible to our room.
