The Hotel has 2 buildings which is not obvious when booking was made. room has 3 single beds. a double bed would have been nicer not enough plugs to charge mobile devices free bottle of water was a nice touch good breakfast but a little pricey for 19 EUR TV was not working. no price reduction from Mercure or a voucher overall good and convenient area. RER at the footsteps and supermarket also.

Cleaning Service not as good as the Location

I've booked 2 Apartment and after the first night we notice that the cleaning service didn't clean the trash in the kitchen of the apartment and also did not change the towel even though we put the towel on the floor. I have to ask for the new towel and let the reception know to take out the trash the next day. We also didn't get the refill on the complimentary bottle of water, not sure if we only get one when we arrived or they didn't replenish it. However, Reception is very helpful with us and the location is good with the grocery and RER station nearby.

The room is old and walls r thin and I couldn’t stay in that room at all, original stay there for 10 nights but I looked at the toilet and I just couldn’t.

Budget hotel

We were put in the hotel building next door to the main building which is fine but what surprised me is the way the room is maintained. The drapes were falling off the hook and there was infact a tear too, room and the bathroom were super small too without the amenities that you would expect from a "Mercure" brand hotel. Breakfast was basic for the price you pay and that too they re-use the leftovers from the day before. Basically this hotel is good if you are on a tight budget and are not really bothered by the state of the room etc

Very old setup, carpets etc...told single queen bed but gave twin-beds joined together. Room cleaning had to be reminded multiple times. Being a studio apartment, hotel expected their guests to clean the dishes/cutlery used in the room during the stay which I felt bit awkward. No coin operated laundry in the hotel

Just next to RER station, pretty quiet surrounding, clean, simple, convenient room, nice service, I will not take a breakfast for next time (not much for vegie or dieting). The hotel restaurant is the best choice for dinner.

What is really great is the staff- friendly, smiled, very helpful and gentle. I like that kind of service! Hotel is nice, in quite good condition. The room was ok, with great TV, unfortunatelly majority of channels are french. Location is fantastic, connected also with the underground.

I did book a room + 1 champagne bottle. But at arrival, I did not receive the champagne and the employee refused to give me a bottle of champagne because she did note receive work instructions for that. I reminded to the employee at the welcome desk that I am a Platinum member , so I count on her professionalism to manage this issue due maybe to an oversight. But she maintained her decision . I asked to buy a new bottle, she said that the stock is sold out.

Good Hotel for a buseniss stay. Short 20 min walk from La Defense center. Or 1 stop on the red line.Why I take this hotel sometimes is to alter from the others in La Defense. It has a easy nice walk and after work there are plenty bars )after work drink' or restaurants on your way

Where else in the world do you need to knock on glass wall because the door to the reception is locked and the receptionist needs to walk there and press the exit button so you can enter to even start checking in?Scenario: 11PM after a hot summer day walking around Paris. We were given the keys, were assigned room 414, great! We were told to walk to the other building, yes the hotel has two buildings. Key would not work, but another guest pressed the exit button from the inside so we can enter. Went to 4th floor, there is no room 414. Went back to the other building to tell the staff (he is black and bald, I didn't get his name) that there is no room 414 there because rooms start at 421. He did not believe it, he went with us to the other building so we walked again. He went with us to the 4th floor of the other building, then we were able to show him that there is no room 414 there. Great again! When we returned to the main building, he found out that he could not get in, because, remember what I said ealier about the door? Yes, it is locked. He knocked at the glass walls like I did earlier, then his colleague pressed the exit button so we can all enter.We went up to the 4th floor of the main building and voila, room 414 was there! Then there's the other problem. He gave us "swipe" keys but the door only accepts contactless keys. I went down to reception again to ask for contactless keys. I pointed at the glass box containing used keys to emphasize that I need contactless keys. He told me that the swipe key should work and because he did not believe me, he went with me to room 414. Then he realised his fault and I told him I didn't want to go back down again. He went to get the correct keys. By this time, it is already 11:33pm and we were really tired. I'm a Gold LCAH member but no welcome drink was offered and seriously, I didn't really bother asking for it. WHAT A DISASTER!

The location is great, just in front of the RER station "Nanterre prefecture", two station from the biggest Paris attractions. I would recommend to book 6th-7th floors in a privilege room, equipped with Nespresso machine and many other extras for the perfect leisure or business stay.

happen to stay this hotel, as recommended by my hosts, I preferred Mercure brand as this provide value for money as I was traveling alone and most of the time on meetings used this place only for spending nights, the breakfast was good, compared to my expectation. It was bit disturbing in night as the room was facing road, some lights peeping through window blinds The place is easily accessible and good for single stay

Having 2 entrance doors causes confusion if you order a cab. Only 1 entrance is actually in use. Reception staff very helpful. Plenty of small eateries around, but close early. Bakery and supermarket very close by, very convenient.

This Mercure is conveniently located at the extreme west-end of La Défense. If the weather is fine, walking to La Grande Arche is just a 10 min journey. Otherwise the Nanterre Prefecture RER is very close by. The hotel would benefit in a bit of refreshment. My room (Executive on the 7th floor) was not entirely clean: fluff was wandering on the carpet.. Bed was OK and room equipment too. Breakfast was fine, with a good range of food and freshly squeezed fruit juice

When I booked at this Hotel the reason was a good bast experience with Mercure Brand but I have been surprise that the Apartment part of the Hotel is completely different in its quality than the Hotel also the Apartment is in another building out of the Hotel and the information about it in the Hotel site is wrong because when I booked its mention that the The apartment has Equipped kitchen, but this information is false and misleading because the apartment that was given to me there is no kitchen at all the only good thing in this Hotel is that it have a very nice friendly and helpful recepition staff and in General I dont recomind this Hotel to any customer but I advice whom planing to book in this Hotel is to avoids to book an apartment because the apartment building is uncomfortable and the maintenance is so rickety with a very bad lighting also Apartments are not worth the price offered by the hotel

Boiling hot, lousy bed

Hotel was average, carpets were dirty and common areas dated and run down. Rooms were like sauna's and cooling did not work and hotel seemed to do little to solve the issue. Bed was substandard and rock hard. Breakfast buffet was good.

This is a great location if you either have business in the local area or if you need to go to Paris. You are only a few steps away from the RER station. The rooms are surprisingly quiet with the RER right underneath. There is a local grocery to purchase snacks and other necessities.
