During our stay we had a very unpleasant situation. My son’s diaper leaked and slightly wet the bedsheet (the top layer that covers the bed). I removed this layer and left it on the floor. When I returned to the hotel at the end of the day, the room had been cleaned, but the sheet was still in the same place. So we went to the reception to ask if the sheet could be changed or if we could have a clean one to replace it ourselves. To our surprise, the staff member was extremely aggressive, without even trying to understand what had happened: “Your son does not have to pee on the bed,” “You have to pay for it,” “My manager will check it before you leave.” We tried to explain that there was no damage to the bed or anything else in the room—it was just a sheet—but we were not able to communicate properly. Phrases like “Sorry, I didn’t understand what happened. Could you please explain it again?” or “Could you please confirm exactly which part is wet?” were never said. Instead, we only received accusations. No effort at all from the other side to understand what we were trying to say. It made me wonder: don’t guests ever dirty bed linens? Doesn’t anyone sweat? Doesn’t anyone spill water, juice, or anything else on a hotel bed?!

Toilet would not stop flushing, shower difficult to operate, in summary seems like everything is reaching replacement/refurbishing stage. Bed was comfortable though.

appartement needs urgently a renovation. Location is ideal near RER A Breakfast is in Mercure, crossing the square.

The main issue was the visible lack of maintenance, the general run-down feel of the room. It was also very dusty, it was very dirty, even to the point there being garbage inside the paper glass in the bathroom. I regularly stay in Ibis hotels, sometimes Mercure or other Accor, but this was the worst one I ever stayed in.

The room we had was smelly. Somehow the quality went down. We stayed here years ago, it was good experience but this time it was different. Housekeepers left the dirty linens on the room upon our check in. It was unpleasant.

Un excellent weekend

Our stay at Le Mercure (residence) La Defense was a bad experience. Your Staff (2 ladies) who were working in the morning on the 26th Oct 25 were inexperienced and rude. I was told by one of your staff (who was very nice) on the 25th Oct 25 in the evening that i can keep the room till 5pm as a silver card member. We did mention to her that we might leave early. The staff who were working on Sunday 26th Oct 25 check us out before we even handed them our keys. We went out for lunch and we came back to the hotel around 1.00 pm to collect our bags and we could not access our room . When we went back to the reception, Both staff told us that we were meant to check out at 11.00 am. We tried to explain to her that we already agreed to check out late with her colleague on the eve and she had put a note on the system. We explained to them both in English and French. They was made us going back and forth to our rooms at least three times with a key which was not working. We have a very bad experience with them.

Key card wouldn't open the outer doors. Safe, air con, TV channels didn't work. Very tired decor and fittings. I had to go to reception to get bin liners and coffee because there was no cleaning. My bin bags were stacked up in the room as there was no where to dispose of them.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights at your Residence. I would like to share some feedback about my experience. First of all, the front office team was not hospitable. They were cold and unwelcoming, which I did not expect. I was already aware of the room condition from online reviews, so I did not have high expectations. However, when I arrived, I found that the phone cable in the room was broken. I tried calling reception from my personal phone, but no one answered, so I had to go downstairs. The receptionist told me she would take note for the technician. The next evening, after a long day, I asked again about the issue since the phone was still broken. Another receptionist told me there was no technician available on weekends, so nothing could be done. She also mentioned she could not move us to another room, even though I had not requested it. This left me wondering: why did your team “take note” of the issue when they knew nothing could be done? And why was the room given to us in the first place with a completely broken telephone? (I still have a picture as proof.) In addition, during check-in, no information was given about the sofa beds, breakfast prices, or other practical details. Since I work in hospitality, I found this very disappointing and unprofessional. I do not intend to make this public, but I do want your team to be aware of the situation. Surely, I will not return to your hotel, but I hope you will improve these aspects for future guests. On a positive note, I would like to mention that the middle-aged receptionist at check-out was the only one who was friendly and welcoming.

Difficoltà a fare il check nonostante abbia prenotato con heartist rate “family&friends”. Paranoie per nulla con i miei ospiti. Non siamo stati molto felici. Forse non ci torneremo più.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay, transport links were good, room was big enough for 3 people, we had a kitchenette which had plates, saucepans etc even a wash up kit but no utensils, so couldn't use! You did get tea, coffee etc with 2 wooden sticks!

The stay was ok. The hotel is well located. Staff were responsive and helpful. The room wasn’t in his best condition. Individual beds were flimsy, lights were not enough and in one room just a bedside table lamp was working. The split between bedrooms would close well. The air conditioning was noisy. Just one plug would work. the kitchen was missing cutlery. The main bed was comfy though and we manage to have a good stay. It wasn’t bad but we usually expect more from Mercure

We stayed in room 523 for the duration of 6 days. The carpet leading to the room was heavily stained, and when entering the room we were greeted by a bad smell that potentially could be the smell of drainpipes or toilet (feces). Both the toilet seat and bathtub had dark coloured stains on them, which upon closer inspection the enamel on was actually damaged and peeled off. There was mold in the edges of the bathtub which some maintenance worker sealed behind some plastic filler material - not to mention that the toilet was leaky and kept making noise throughout day & night.

Hôtel choisi pour sa localisation proche de La Défense Aréna, très facile d’accès. Malheureusement la chambre n’était pas propre (cheveux, poils, moisissure dans la baignoire), problème de conception: l’eau de la douche inonde le sol de la salle de bain, couloirs communs pas très accueillants.
