We had a very enjoyable family stay at Pullman Paris La Défense, made particularly memorable by the thoughtful attention given to our special occasion. Our Deluxe room on the 17th floor had a wonderful view across La Défense. Although our original booking was for two single beds, the hotel kindly accommodated our request for a king bed, provided the two additional pillows we had requested, and arranged an extra bed while keeping the room practical and comfortable. The rose petals on the bed, handwritten welcome card and small Pullman gift were unexpected personal touches that made our arrival feel genuinely special. The room and bathroom were clean, contemporary and well maintained. The lobby is bright, modern and elegant without being overly formal, and the hotel works particularly well as a base for exploring Paris while staying in La Défense. The La Défense location worked well for us; we mainly used Bolt, Uber and G7, with a major public-transport hub also nearby. One practical note for drivers: temporary roadworks can currently confuse app-based drop-off navigation around the hotel, so check the proposed destination carefully. Breakfast had some excellent ideas. We particularly enjoyed the chia seeds with coconut cream, detox water and the freshly prepared options from the live counter, including customised omelettes and pancakes. However, this is also where there is room for improvement. It was not clear enough what could be ordered from the kitchen counter; a simple menu or display of the available made-to-order dishes would significantly improve the experience. Some hot buffet items also did not consistently remain hot — the scrambled eggs, for example, were excellent when fresh but less enjoyable on other occasions. Service at breakfast was similarly mixed. Some team members were genuinely warm, friendly and attentive, while a few interactions felt less welcoming and at times we felt overlooked. Greater consistency here would elevate an already good breakfast considerably. Overall, however, the positive aspects clearly outweighed these shortcomings. What we will remember most is the effort the hotel made to personalise our stay. Those thoughtful details transformed what could have been simply a comfortable hotel stay into a memorable family occasion.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are flexible. The breakfast is superb. Noman, Sulman and Leonard served us and they were fabulous! Leonard noticed us struggling with the teapot and was on it before we asked! Brilliant. Jade was warm and gracious to us on reception. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we look forward to coming back!
