I will start with saying that I do know that this is a very very budget chain and hence my expectations were set accordingly. However, there is a baseline that we are due as customers and that certainly includes cleanliness and hygiene. Our room was looking very tired, stuffy and with a variety of spider webs. The part that was unbearable though was the bathroom and the shower cubicle: there was black mould everywhere in such quantity that one could not shower without brushing your arms, legs, body against some mould. This place has not been cleaned in ages to get to that stage. I had two kids and to spare them to having to breath spores, we decided they would wash "tomorrow". This is pathetic service and I would not recommend this place not even as a room for a quick shag.

We used HotelF1 for a 1 night stop over whilst on our motorcycle trip, it was ideal, the room was comfy, the bedding was clean and fresh, parking was ideal, overall it was a pleasant stay.

While the blankets en towels were clean. The rest of the room was not . In the bathoom , sink and toilet were clean. The shower is really dirty. We did not like the feeling washing ourselves there. At around 1.30 am somebody tried to get in our room. Waking us up.we did not sleep well that night. We skip breakfast,we could not wait to ge out of there😔

Very little bathroom: toilet and shower are in a small cabin. The sheet on my bed was not really clean. Breakfast was called a buffet. Although little ingredients.croissants, bread and only marmelade and nutella to put on it. No chees or meat. Kind people: we asked for an early breakfast, because we had to travel through. That was possible

Ik weet dat het een budget hotel is en verwachting is dan ook niet hoog. Kamer was op zich prima en bedden ook goed voor 1 nacht. Badkamer was echter dramatisch. Wc was helemaal bruin uitgeslagen en na 4x doortrekken deed hij het ook niet meer. Wastafel lekte enorm door de sifon waardoor de hele badkamer vloer met water stond als je de kraan aanzette. Dus ja goedkoop, maar zelfs dan geen waarde voor je geld.

Si une ville est à éviter en France, c'est bien celle-ci. Insécurité maximale. On voit que ça craint partout, dès le passage de la plaque Longwy. Une zone de non-droit, le Bronx dans toute sa splendeur. L'hôtel est assorti à ce climat. À part la réception très sympathique, le lieu et la population cadrent parfaitement au lieu. Une odeur de cannabis entoure tout l'hôtel et des gens au profil peu rassurant fument impunément fument partout. Bonne chance et tirez-vous vite de ce mauvais pas.

Compared to the 90s, the Formule 1 (now F1) brand has changed and got a big makeover. It's simple, but sufficient, the staff is friendly and helpful. However there is a lack of maintenance, get some oil so that the door stops squeaking, get a broom, wipe the stairs with a wet mop. And clean up the parking lot. All this doesn't cost much, but makes a big difference.
