Poor sleep

The location of the hotel was good. The air-conditioning in the room did not work properly and it was very hot to sleep. The bed was all too soft and bad for my back, so I slept poorly and woke up with a backache. The breakfast was good and service friendly.

Every time is getting worse

I spent two weeks on this Hotel, not my first time and I have seen that every time I come back the hotel is getting worse. The personnel is absolutely friendly except for Joaquin, the guy on the breakfast room, all the rest, makes the stay quite confortable. The pillows were awful, my neck still hurts from them, there is no space to leave the thing properly, and there is no parking available, so it's a nightmare to have a car on that location.

I am aware that LUX is not a cheap country directly. But paying eur140-150 for a 3* small room, equipped with basics, not even offering a kettle to prepare some tea, with no restaurant that you can reach without putting on coats or other jackets, taking an umbrella - that is not really a bargain. If you add - no airport transfer offering (“you can take a taxi” as a polite mail suggested), final transfer cost at the level of eur140 - that is a rip-off, sorry! Good that the room at least was super clean :-)

It was a nice stay. Very decent hotel. Very decent and clean room. Comfortable bed. Downside? The price not really corresponding to the level of quality. I can understand that LUX is in general an expensive country but 140-150 eur for a night is not really a bargain. Especially for a hotel like IBIS. For money significantly lower than that one can easily find 3* hotels in world metropolies (like eg Dubai or FRA) - offering better facilities, bigger rooms, much bigger and better bathrooms etc etc. I will think twice next time choosing a hotel in LUX… If you add a taxi bill for airport transfer for over eur140, hmmmm no, rather not, thank you

The staff were friendly and very helpful with advice and booking taxi's. The hotel was easy to locate, the bedroom was spacious and clean and the breakfast included had lots of choice. The hotel was busy but not noisy. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area, as it was good value for money.
