ibis Styles Luxembourg Centre Gare Hotel 3 stars

Very close to train station, supermarket and restaurants. More like hostel accomodation than hotel-tiny bathrooms. Room very hot (even with 4.c outside) but thankfully could open the window. Breakfast basic. Service a little slack! My room was very quiet.

Pleasant stay at ibis Stylus Luxembourg Centre Gare. I would like to mention though two points that bothered me a bit: lack of (scrambled) eggs in the breakfast; lack of a shower door in the bathroom. All the rest was quite reasonable for me.

Our daughter got sick during this trip and the team has been extremely accommodating! Loretta(?) helped us in researching for a children’s hospital to go to and how to get there. Mike helped us schedule breakfast for early check out. Kudos to the A star team!

Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions for places to eat and quickly helping with any special requests. I really appreciated the cup of tea at 3AM when travel insomnia got the better of me! Room was clean and pretty comfortable (room 406), but the mattress on the bed does have a noticeable imprint/hollow on the side closest to the bathroom door -- it could stand to be flipped or changed. Would recommend to others.

Hotel's location and facilities were great. 24 hour access to coffee machine in cafe area was much appreciated. However... when it rained there was a very strong drains smell coming from the bathroom.

I have already spent 100 nights in accor hotels this year. This was by far the most disappointing stay. Not that it was bad, it was just disappointing. As the saying goes: You can put a monkey in a suit, it remains a monkey. For me this is an Ibis Budget to which they have just added some hip colors. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean, but very basic. A bed and wardrobe, nothing more. The bathroom was much too small. I could barely move and had to dry myself in the room. My room overlooked the "inner garden", which was just a little courtyard with some chairs. The queensize bed, was just a regular bed in my opion. The neighborhood of the hotel was apparently not the most pleasant neighborhood, but of course the hotel cannot help it. the breakfast was nice but the choice was limited. Hot dishes are not part of the menu (maybe I should have asked)

Good Budget hotel. Very friendly and helpful employees, centrally located hotel near "old town" city center to be reached by 15 - 20 Min walk free Wi-Fi, breakfast and as well coffee, tea and water in the lobby. The room are small (~ 11 - 12 qm) but comfortable, equiped with a queen-size or singe beds. at the rooms are shower with toilet and TV. Due to the rooms are small - huge person might have problems with the bed size and shower. Breakfast was "basic" continental but just fine, offering as well fesh orangejuice, yoghurt (naturel, and with fruits)
