Very noisy room. I could hear the lift going up and and pinging ALL NIGHT LONG. Plus neighbours talking and banging. Just awful. Area is seedy too with a sex shop around the corner and dodgy guys pimping out women or selling drugs. I have spent less and in hotels much nicer. Mattress was terrible too. I would never return to this hotel.

I booked via accor.com for three nights, but as the website does not accept changes, I called twice the hotel to modify to two nights and it was confirmed both of the times. At check in my reservation was still for three nights and I was asked to prove in my mobile phone that I called the hotel the past days..... My room had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke, obviously from the previous guest. Obviously the room was cleaned but nobody took care of the smell. It was impossible that a cleaner came in the room to clean it without noticing the terrible smell. I called the reception twice as soon as I got into the room to ask for a new room if it was possible, both times I was put on a hold listening to music, nobody answered. For its price, the double room is quite small even for single occupancy. Imagine what happens with two persons in the room. Even in the fifth floor there is noise coming from the street until late evening. Average breakfast, just the basics. First time at this hotel, disappointing experience.

Regarding your reservation modification, we sincerely apologise for the misunderstanding at check-in. The change should have been correctly updated in our system, and you should not have been asked to provide proof from your phone. We will reinforce our internal procedures to ensure this does not happen again. We are also very sorry about the unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke in your room. Even though all our rooms are non-smoking, some guests unfortunately do not respect this policy. The situation should have been identified and resolved before your arrival, and we should have been more responsive when you tried calling the reception. This is not acceptable, and we are already addressing this with our housekeeping and front office teams. We know that our rooms are compact, and we do our best to optimise the space for comfort. As for the noise, the neighbourhood can be lively in the evenings, but we are working on solutions to reduce its impact inside the rooms. Regarding breakfast, we offer a continental selection and are currently reviewing the buffet to make it more varied and appealing for our guests. We regret that your first experience with us was disappointing. Your feedback is extremely valuable and helps us improve our services. The hotel is great. The staff is amazingly friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and quiet (I had a room at the back). The rooms are small but well taken care of. Outside the hotel is a little different. I hadn’t expected it from Luxembourg but there are a lot of ‘interesting’ people in the street outside. I didn’t have any problems with them but it is a little intimidating even as a guy. But they leave you alone. It just felt a little uneasy arriving at night. The hotel is really convenient for the train station, airport and exploring the city.
