Staff is friendly but rates don’t match the state of the hotel or the rooms

Our hotel completed full renovations in recent years and maintains rigorous upkeep standards, and we regret any discrepancy observed. While the hotel was nice, with very friendly staff, it was way overpriced for what we were dealt. Paying over €1,000 for 4 nights and the very simple buffet breakfast not to be included felt like robbery. We were charged over €50 for 2 people. The only cooked items were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, and hash browns. Everything else was cold foods/breads and all was self serve. And to not have decent air con in a fairly new hotel is insane. I went to the desk twice about it and we never received help from maintenance. It felt like it was averaging almost 25° in the room and there was no proper ventilation, so taking a shower made it hot and humid. Luxembourg was beautiful and we had an amazing trip, but probably not a hotel we would book again.
