Waited over 20 minutes in very long queue to check in, as there was only 1 receptionist doing his best in difficult circumstances, so not his fault. Room was clean and bed linen is obviously very clean and properly laundered, but the mattress pillows somewhat smelly...so overall not super.

Alright I came across many reviews about this hotel with mixed opinion, which is absolutely normal. Everyone has their own experience. Lets start with the pros: - Its budget friendly. We paid for 2 nights - 3 days woth breakfast around 190€ for two people. Their rate starts at 65€ per Night without breakfast. - The receptionist have always been kind and helpful. Whenever we needed something they helped us without any issues. Cons: - It’s a Budget hotel. You see the flaws and this one definitely needs renovation. - surpise the shower is right new to the bed. Travelling with a partner works but as friends there could be some difficulties - hygiene. The cleaning is definitely ans issue as we had spider nets on the wall. The shower not being cleaned and no soap, tooth paste or hair dryer were available. - Location: Now we have no problem to walk 15 mins from the bus stop to the hotel. However with kids this could be a bit dangerous as you walk beside the Highway. There is not bus stop in the middle to reach the hotel. We recommend to take bus 621 Fankennacker, Bettembourg Truly this can be seen pro or con but it deserves an extra call out. The Toilett is in a closet 🙂.

The bed was clean. The staff were lovely. Reception area was well maintained. The room was basic and functional but it was old, worn and dirty looking. Lots of dirty marks, odd stains and blobs of unknown substances on the walls and ceilings. The window ledge was grey with ingrained dirt. Lots of chips and scratches and worn edges on everything. In the corridor the carpet was stained with what looked like vomit. The hotel is on the outskirts and the exterior area didn’t feel well maintained (overflowing bins in car park, ongoing construction in neighbourhood, weeds and badly maintained verges, didn’t feel safe at night)
