The hotel is comfortable and clean, with friendly staff and in a great location for the station, the Festspielhaus and the town. Inevitably, the price is sky-high during the Festival and, for this price, one would hope to have tea and coffee facilities available and possibly a safe. Breakfast is efficiently organised and has variety, whilst the staff were excellent at keeping the area clear and clean.

Hotel is very conveniently located between the main station and the Bayreuth festival hall. Service is nice, parking (for a small fee) available. Rooms are clean but Ibis style basic, so do not expect big luxury. You can choose rooms with view to the railway tracks or main road, but hotel is very soundproof and had a good Aircondition, important for a very hot summer

The Ibis Styles in Bayreuth is in walking distance from both the main station and the Festspielhaus. Although right next to a rail marshalling yard, our room was very quiet. There was not a lot of space, but enough for a long weekend. Front staff were consistently helpful and friendly.

Excellent helpful staff and great customer focus. Our room was a quite one as requested and the hotel in very convenient location. We have stayed in this hotel at the same time of year for the past 3 years and plan to do so again in 2026. If I had to be picky both my wife and I find the electric lighting in the rooms rather dismal. We really like the eco theme concerning change of towels and the cleaning of rooms being opt in rather than opt out. All in all top marks. Prior to arriving in Bayreuth we spent 2 nights at the Ibis in the Bahnhofstraße in Heilbronn. As we have not been asked for a review I’d like to comment that we found things there of the same high standard. All the staff were amazingly helpful and 10/10. As with the Bayreuth hotel we have stayed there there for the past 3 years and plan to do so again in 2026.

The location was so nice and we were easily able to access the city central. We chose a connecting room and that was very large to stay for us, and what we have to say about our stay was that there were some cute and great gift in our room from the Hotel staffs!!

It was ok but the price I was quoted was not what I was charged. I was on a motorcycle and central booking miscommunication caused me to pay an extra 8 euros for parking even though I did not use a parking spot When I complained I was told “ there was nothing they could do This is the third time central booking worked against me on different issues

Easy check in and the room was clean and importantly a perfectly functioning air conditioner . A large bottle of water was provided. The breakfast buffet provided a good spread too. The location is unparalleled for me; next to the trains station and right in the direct road leading to Bayreuth Featival opera house , making walking there very easy and practical .

Everyone is nice, the property is clean and cheerful, the breakfast buffet is excellent. Close enough to walk to and from the Wagner Opera Festival, and most people gather together for a drink after performances.

Father and daughter trip to the Bayreuth festival for 2 nights. Ibis is a very convenient friendly and clean hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Also the night of the performance the bar opened to serve returning concert goers which was almost welcome.

Short walk from train station and easy walk to Bayreuth Festival Theater. There's a big gathering in the lobby/bar area after the performance. Breakfast was extensive but unchanging. Simple but comfortable rooms. While we faced the tracks, with the windows closed you could barely notice.
