The ibis Bamberg old Town has 50 AC rooms with a lot of comfort and is only 200 metres from city centre. In our hotel you can go online free of charge via Wi-Fi whenever you want. Everything was great. Bathroom could be a little bigger Great Perfect location Hotel was very good. I did not eat in the hotel I did not go to the Bar Everything was great. Great customer service

Worst hotel and terrible receptionist. Don’t even have extra pillows, used toilet paper and the room stank. Outdated, old and grubby. Please do yourself a favour and book Ibis Budget instead which has been recently refurbished.

I have been visiting your hotel every year 25 years. Now, everything is going down. Room temperature control hasn't been working for two years ever I have told about it. There is no next time in the hotel, I will go somewhere else. You just don't care.

We wish we had not stayed. Sorry to write that, but it is what it is. We are Very disappointed with our stay at the Ibis.. Rooms are extremely small, so small you cannot open two suitcases at a time. Feels like student accommodation. Most rooms too small. Looks like the hotel needs a good clean, particularly the lift. Improvement needed. The breads and pastries did not seem to be fresh and appeared to be put out again from the previous day. Staff did not seem interested in clearing tables. The dining room was not cleaned very well and sometimes stuff remained on the floor from the previous day. Crockery was often dirty, and we saw several people searching through many cups trying to find a clean one. The orange juice and multivitamin juice was so watered down it did not resemble juice. My wife gave up eating at Ibis and instead went elsewhere for breakfast even though we had advance paid for her breakfasts. Why no toaster? The room was so small we could not open two suitcases at a time. Felt like budget student accommodation, not a hotel. The photos on booking.com made the rooms seem a lot bigger than what they really are. When we first saw our room we were very disappointed as we did not pay a budget price, the Ibis Bamberg was nearly the dearest hotel of the six we stayed at in Germany but was easily the lowest standard. Unfortunately, we wish we had have stayed somewhere else.
