Been using the hotel for many years. It seems its time for a renovation of the hotel. Its just not the same anymore. I could never before have imagined a partly clocked drain in the bathroom sink, and what happened to the nice touch, with the rubber duck on the bathtub? Breakfast was okay, but again with minor changes. I loved the setup with the honey/beeswax, not that I used it, but I still showed pictures of the setup to other people telling them about the hotel.

Dear Mr N., first of all we would like to thank you for being loyal to the hotel for years. Yes, unfortunately we have to agree with you. The past two years have not left us unscathed. Necessary renovations were postponed and the number of staff could not be maintained in its entirety. But we are on the right track, have interesting applicants in the meantime and are getting closer to the renovation. Please continue to be loyal to us and we will not disappoint you. AKGOTO Business - TripAdvisor review

I left the hotel with a bad taste in my mouth. I was initially booked for 2 nights (arriving early morning on Oct 10 and leaving late night on Oct 11). After realising that I had made an error on my booking and need to stay an extra night (as my fight was at 2am on Oct 12), first the hotel told me that there was no room available. Then suddenly they said a room had become available but they would charge me 3 times that price I paid for one night!! I spoke with the 'Revenue Manager' who at first wouldn't come on the line but was completely not understanding towards my point of view. To top it off, the bath robe in my room was torn and they wouldn't send someone up to help me with the ironing table as I was having difficulty opening it. So I ironed while squatting on the floor. Poor Poor service.

But at the end of the day, we just wanted to be of service to you on a major trade fair day. The price was known to you in advance and it was your free decision to stay another night. Comfortable but quite a few small issues

The room itself was a good size and bed very comfortable and the staff lovely - but the it conditioning didn't work, the shower head was broken and the window (I was on the top floor) opened fully without a safety latch so was quite dangerous. Probably would not stay again.
