I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but this was the first time I experienced such practices. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay upfront, which is unusual, as most hotels request payment at the end of the stay. This gave me a feeling of mistrust and was not a pleasant start to my visit. The room was quite cold and, surprisingly, there was no hairdryer provided. When I requested one, I had to leave my passport as a deposit just to borrow it for ten minutes. This was extremely inconvenient and felt very unprofessional, something I would never expect to see in Europe. Additionally, the breakfast did not meet my expectations in terms of quality. Overall, I was disappointed.

Concerning the hairdryer, it is available at the reception for a refundable deposit. Leaving your passport was not necessary, as a monetary deposit would have been sufficient. We regret that you were not fully satisfied with the breakfast and room temperature, and we thank you for your remarks, which help us to improve our services. Zunächst war ich etwas irritiert über die Gestaltung des Zimmers mit dem klitzekleinen offenen Waschbecken und der Duschkabine mitten im Zimmer, habe mich dann aber daran gewöhnt. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist das Zimmer zu ungemütlich, aber 1-2 Übernachtungen sind o.k.
