After some difficulty locating the hotel - lack of adequate signage - we found our rooms. Cramped but welcome after a very long journey. The « improvements » made to the rooms have actually made them less desirable and certainly more difficult to move around. The bathroom facilities whilst welcome are very small - I have used showers in a camping car which were bigger. Fortunately I am not fat - a bigger person might find them impossible ! Only stay here if cost is your only priority.

Good price, room itself was fine, but problems elsewhere

The price was great for our family as a place to stay en route to our final destination, and the room itself was good with the bunk bed and two other singles. However, due to the renovations there was a lot of glass in the parking lot, particularly near the dumpster that was at the end of the building. The door at the end of the hallway was also propped open the entire night, presenting a security concern. I’m not entirely sure the rooms were numbered correctly, as our even numbered room was on the side of the hallway where the rest of the rooms were odd numbered. The internet didn’t work for us, it said the clerk didn’t validate us correctly or something similar, but we had already dressed for bed and were too tired to walk downstairs to find out the solution. Finally, nobody was manning the front desk when we were leaving shortly before 0700.

We travel with a pet dog. Previously we have stayed at the Ibis Centre Cathedrale Reims. We have also recently stayed at the Mercure in Biarritz with our pet dog. But when I entered the filter 'Pets welcome' for our one night stay in Reims, all the other hotels were no longer listed, and this FI hotel was the only Accor hotel listed. The bedroom had no furniture except the bed. It was very basic.

My email suggested that I could book into my room at 14:00hrs. I arrived at 16:00hrs and the office was closed. I asked a cleaning lady if any one was available. She said no. A guy turned up and said to come back at 18:00hrs. I was not happy and he gave me the room. The room was disgusting the carpet was filthy, the toilet was broke and kept running - I needed to turn the mains offf.
