Never stayed at an F1 before and would not do so again. Have stayed at Accor and other budget chain hotels previously in UK and France. Luckily it was only 1 night. Arriving to see many people sitting on kerbs in the car park smoking, obviously not French, is something I've never seen before, and didn't give a good initial impression. Sign at desk warning of noise from grape pickers didn't ease concerns. Staff at desk tried to reassure, and we had no issues or noise in the end, mainly because we were at the back of the hotel and the grape pickers were at the front. Rooms were tiny, dark, hot, with very limited ventilation, and thin walls so could hear snoring from adjacent rooms. Corridors had shoes and water bottles outside room doors - not seen this before anywhere. Communal area tiny, and often full, and so unusable by most guests. Hotel needs to decide whether it's a cheap hostel for season workers or a budget hotel. Room contained : bed, small table, small stool, small TV. Adjoining bathroom had toilet, sink, tiny shower with soap dispense that didn't work, and a small bin. That's it. Room light had bars on it. Obvious damage to wall that had been repaired, which would seem to be due to some sort of violence act. Worse damage, with probably similar cause, not repaired, in hallway. No facilities for making hot drinks other than machines in entrance foyer which required cups to be purchased, presumably when reception was staffed, which isn't 24 hours. Generally poorly maintained, and scary ambience, did not feel safe at times. Terrible value. Sticker over rate card on back of door claimed nightly rate was €350, which is laughable, and certainly didn't make think it was better value. I don't know if this is typical of F1 hotels, or whether this particular hotel is a bad example of the F1 brand, but it's certainly reflects very badly on the Accor brand. Seriously considered checking into one of the other nearby hotels.

Durant cette période, notre hôtel accueille de nombreux travailleurs saisonniers et le taux d’occupation est beaucoup plus élevé que d’habitude. Nous comprenons que la présence d’un grand nombre de travailleurs autour de l’hôtel ait pu vous donner une première impression différente. Nous sommes toutefois heureux de constater que, comme vous le mentionnez vous-même, vous n’avez rencontré aucun problème de bruit ou de nuisance durant la nuit. Concernant la chambre, le concept de l’hôtel F1 repose sur un hébergement simple, fonctionnel et économique, avec des chambres compactes et des équipements essentiels. L’absence de climatisation est également clairement indiquée lors de la réservation. Malheureusement, votre séjour a eu lieu pendant une période de températures exceptionnellement élevées, ce qui a rendu les chambres plus chaudes que d’habitude. Nous sommes également désolés d’apprendre que vous vous êtes sentie mal à l’aise concernant l’ambiance générale de l’hôtel. La sécurité et le bien-être de nos clients sont très importants pour nous, et notre équipe fait tout son possible pour garantir un séjour agréable et paisible. Notre personnel reste également disponible pour accompagner les clients et répondre à leurs besoins pendant leur séjour. Nous regrettons que le concept de l’hôtel F1 n’ait pas correspondu à vos attentes, notamment pour une première expérience avec notre marque. Nous avons néanmoins bien pris en compte vos remarques concernant l’état de certaines parties de l’établissement et celles-ci seront transmises à notre équipe. Hotel F1 Reims was perfectly located for an overnight stop on our way to the Alps. The room was simple but had everything we needed for a comfortable night’s stay. One thing to be aware of is that breakfast isn’t included, even though it may seem like it is, so it’s worth remembering.

Friendly helpful reception staff. Room very small, basic, and stuffy, so kept window open. Bed was small but comfortable, pillows were small and lumpy! Reception for wifi and TV was good, we watched the World Cup! Bathroom was clean but again very basic, I small thin towel each and no bath mat, so floor got wet. Breakfast was good for 6 euros, bread, cake, fruit and cereals. Hotel was only £80 for 2 nights, so basic but good value.

Initial check in we were allocated a room that had not been serviced or cleaned. Next room supplied was clean but very small. Shower difficult to use if you were large. TV worked and good wi-fi. Breakfast - good for under 6 euros. Helpful staff.

Here’s a polished and balanced version of your feedback: The hotel was very basic, with a small room and a very small bathroom. It was adequate for a short stay, but not particularly comfortable. What I did not like was the check-in process. The reception is only open until 21:00, after which guests must use self-check-in. To keep my reservation, the hotel requested prepayment before arrival. This was surprising because I had already provided a valid credit card during the booking process, and the reservation confirmation clearly stated that payment could be made at the hotel. Unfortunately, this created unnecessary stress during my trip. I received the payment request while spending time with my family at Disneyland Paris and had to interrupt our visit to communicate with the hotel and resolve the issue. No information about this requirement was provided in the ALL Accor app before booking. I do not understand the urgency of requiring advance payment in this situation, especially since the hotel already had my credit card details. It would have been much more convenient to simply send the self-check-in instructions and either charge the card on file or allow payment at check-out, as indicated in the reservation terms. That said, I would like to acknowledge that the hotel staff member, Lucas, was polite, professional, and helpful throughout the process, which I appreciated.

Hotel is in a convenient location, just off the motorway. There’s a large Carrefour nearby. The room was clean. Staff were very helpful, sending directions for out of hours check in via a lock box to both my email and WhatsApp. We were able to rest before continuing our journey. Beds were not the most comfortable but it was excellent value for a family of four so no complaints.

I’ll preface this review by saying its cheap as chips and so my expectations are aligned to this great value. The bed was very comfortable (firm) and we had a good night’s sleep, surely the most important element! However, the team really need to take some time to remove the mould in the shower area, and eliminate the limescale from the toilet pan. It makes the bathroom look dirty and unwelcoming, and sets a poor tone for the visit. Breakfast is very simple but more than adequate. A glass in the room (or available in reception) would have been useful. As always, a warm and friendly welcome from the reception team. We ate at the nearby Ibis (no discount!!) but very tasty and can recommend.
