I’ll preface this review by saying its cheap as chips and so my expectations are aligned to this great value. The bed was very comfortable (firm) and we had a good night’s sleep, surely the most important element! However, the team really need to take some time to remove the mould in the shower area, and eliminate the limescale from the toilet pan. It makes the bathroom look dirty and unwelcoming, and sets a poor tone for the visit. Breakfast is very simple but more than adequate. A glass in the room (or available in reception) would have been useful. As always, a warm and friendly welcome from the reception team. We ate at the nearby Ibis (no discount!!) but very tasty and can recommend.

The hotel did what it needed. It was a brief stop between long drives. The toilet smelt and at 11pm the manager walked into our room and scared us all. This was unacceptable as we were fast asleep and our children were right by the door. This caused a very restless sleep. We were also given the wrong check in details.
