Everything was great except the bed was a little small. Reception staff were super and breakfast was possibly the best we have had in Ibis Budget

After an all day drive, we needed a place to sleep. I booked online and the default date was exactly one month ahead and I didn't catch. I showed up and was told I didn't have a reservation. We did discover the date issue, but was told there was nothing that could be done. I could not get a refund for the incorrect date and whilst they could accommodate us for the night, it would be at a higher rate. Mistakes happen. I still gave the company my business. A little bit of grace would have gone a long way.

Indeed, the booking you made for the wrong date was validated with a prepaid rate that made the reservation non-cancellation nor changeable, which is why you had to make a new reservation for the good dates. We can understand your discontent, but we had decided since the beginning of the hotel to always follow the general sales conditions validates by the client at booking time, and this for all clients, new ones and loyal ones. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Our family of 5 stayed in 2 family/bunk rooms, which were perfect to break up the journey between skiing and home. Highly recommended - clean, well priced, secure parking lot and located on the outskirts of Reims so getting to or from the Chunnel is very easy.
