all good except not having at least a proper (small) table in the room is not adequate for the room rate

Very close to A26. Our needs were met for an overnight stay. Ample food outlets close by if needed. I booked there in July this year with Booking.Com but this time I went directly to Accor Hotels which was cheaper. Only complaint I have is the small pillows & lack of them.

Having stayed at Ibis many times, this time was totally ruined by the appalling manner of the duty manager 'Henry'. Having enjoyed my breakfast I was about to leave and was stopped rudely and embarrassingly in front of all the other guest by the manageress at the desk. She abruptly told me that I could not take an apple (1 apple) from the breakfast area. I said I have paid for my breakfast and this is just an apple. She continued that I must pay extra for the apple if I was to take it on my journey. I asked 'are you serious?' and she continued with her rudeness "yes you must put it back or pay for it!" I left the hotel fuming with rage at her behaviour and request the opinion of senior management from Ibis as to her behaviour and atrocious customer manner.

Indeed, the breakfast is a buffet, it means you can eat how much you want on site as in any all you can eat buffet if you want to take something to go, there’s or the possibility to buy a “Take away breakfast” (something to drink with something to eat) or just to buy a coffee, a croissant, an apple, … We hope you’ll understand this point of view.
