The usual reliable Ibis experience, well-sited in the centre. A freshly-squeezed orange juice machine in the breakfast area is a nice touch. The only disadvantages were that the mattress on the bed was extremely hard, although I slept well, and the lift to the entrance from the street was not working, causing my disabled father to have to enter/exit through the car park.

​My stays at Ibis Styles were fantastic, largely thanks to the wonderful check-in staff who made the experience truly great. The location is excellent, and having parking directly across the street is extremely convenient. Unfortunately, my current stay at the Mercure has been disappointing. The lady who checked us in was not welcoming, which really ruined the experience. The difference in customer care between the two hotels was night and day, and Ibis Styles truly delivered.

Staff were friendly and patient when we came a bit late to breakfast. Room was clean and towels too. The decoration is modern and inviting. The location was great, right next to the cathedral. Only complaint was that the cleaning women were a bit unorganized. We put a do not disturb sign and they still came in. Once they came in the morning, and then they came again at 13h, where they walked in on us changing. They also sometimes forgot to take out the trash. Or they wouldn’t come at all. Nonetheless they were friendly women. Another complaint was that the tv was very limited, we asked about setting up Netflix but we didn’t get any help and were limited to 10 channels.

We regularly take Styles as an upgrade over the Ibis Budget Hotels. You get a bit more hotel for that. In this location, though, its really poor, though. The building is old with small windows and the bright colors do little to disguise that. The rooms are very cramped with not enough room for luggage. The shower room is tiny, with little hanging space for towels, and the shower not well designed, so you have to use your towels to soak up the water pooled on the floor. The location is fine, there is a cheap car park across the street, the staff was friendly.

Staff were as always great but the hotel was a bit tired and no substitute for the previous Styles hotel in Reims whcich was great!

This ibis Styles is my first choice whenever I stay in Reims. Over the years, I've seen it evolve and, unfortunately, become less and less satisfying while the rates kept increasing. But a new manager has taken over, and things are clearly moving in the right direction. Guest satisfaction is once again a real priority, and you can feel the difference from the moment you arrive. Front receptionist, Marie, was welcoming and helpful. We appreciated her sense of humor especially related to the fact there was no AC in the front lobby. We felt very comfortable storing out bags while we explored Reims before/after check-in/check-out.
