We appreciated the room location and the breakfast, but the room and the floor we were on needed work. The hall had patched holes, and while the room had been upgraded recently, the upgrades did not always work for the bathroom. The showerhead was too big for the shower, which resulted in water often getting on the bathroom floor; the moulding under the shower was not sealed or waterproof, and we could see water damage. The exhaust vent in the bathroom was poorly mounted and fell off the wall twice when the door to the room closed hard.

Lovely location and staff. New decor in rooms is spartan. the room really needs at least a couple of comfortable armchairs. It resembles a prison cell it is so sparsely furnished!

Good location for walking into the town. Public car park very accessible and not expensive.

Reception staff on arrival was friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately not up to the normal 'Style' standard we have come to expect. The room had been refurbished and smelt of paint and lacked hooks and shelving in the bathroom and as it it quite small there is limited space no where to put wet towels, no where for hand towel. The bedroom is small compared to normal style standards. Not sure the refurbishment has done much to improve the hotel. It is very tired in the public areas
