Booking and check-in/out process was easy. As like most other F1's this was situated on the outer edge of the city. Price was cheap, and this reflected in the room which is not a complaint, just an abservation. New style room now has a shower/toilet pod installed, which eats into the overall room space leaving not a lot or space spare. (Personally, I prefer the previous set up with toilet/ shower pods outside the rooms, at the end of the corridor with just a hand basin in the room) Again, I prefer the room painted with plain white walls as this makes the room seem more lighter / brighter. Rooms now have a darker 'feature' wall that for me subtracts from the experience. Breakfast was basic, but was good value for money with orange juice & coffee available. Bread / toast & jam if required and cereals. Parking wasn't an issue either. Rooms now have key cards which is easier than the old six digit code pads on the door.

Check in was very stressful and didn't need to be. The F1 and bookings.com website said that 24 hour check in was available and English spoken. I was told I had to check in before 9pm even though I advised I was driving from Italy and this wasn't possible. I was sent a link for online check-in which delayed my departure by 30 minutes to later be told as I hadn't paid this wouldn't work. After pushing the issue I was told an online invoice could be sent and I could pay. This was fine and I paid. I was given the wrong lockbox and key details. I had received so many emails, I had to find the one with the corrected access information. All messages were sent in French and I had to use Google to translate them while driving. Why didn't you send me the invoice to start with? I could have paid in the morning and not had all of this stress about 9pm? Also some instructions on how to use the online key would have been helpful. I downloaded an app I didn't need and didn't know how to use it. It's a shame because the room itself was fine but I shall use premier classe in future. This was too much after a 500km drive which took 9 hours.

Lit non fait à notre arrivée. Miettes de pains sur le sol. Cheveux dans la salle de bain. Poubelle non vidée. À notre départ, on rapporte au personnel de l’accueil, qui nous indique qu’il comprend notre mécontentement mais qu’il ne peux changer la politique de l’hôtel… Je n’y retournerai pas.
