Worse than the budget Ibis

Having stayed in an Ibis budget for a few nights before changing I expected this to be a slight upgrade. The room was larger, but otherwise the hotel was far more dated, the area noisier (despite the budget one being right next to the station) and I generally preferred the budget hotel. The internet also went down in the whole hotel for a some time while I was in a work call.

Should not qualify as an Ibis Hotel

The staff is friendly, the hotel is very well located, and there is a functioning WiFi. These are the only positives about this stay. The rooms must be demolished and rebuilt from ground zero. The bathrooms are not suitable for use. The room furniture is missing. There is nothing offered for welcome (not even a bottle of water). The housekeeping forgot cleaning material inside the room.
