The hotel is well located, the staff is super nice and is clean, but the rooms lack a lot of quality and the walls are too thin

I have already been in this hotel several times, however, I am not satisfied with the experience in this opportunity. Starting by the reception on the first day; I was received by Virginie on Friday 6th March (around 13-13.30). I did not feel welcome to the hotel as the first sentence she mentioned was "the time for check-in starts at 15.00" without even saying hello or good afternoon. After this sentence, I told her that I am a platinum member and she just replied "it does not matter, it is not the time for check-in " without even checking if there was any room available. However I insisted as early check-in is one of the possible advantages of being a Platinum member and it was already around 13.30; she finally found a room to assign to me. I did not feel that the process was very professional and it was very different from my previous experiences with other staff members of this hotel in previous stays. Additionally, the room which was assigned to me was not in a very good condition: the bathroom wasn't completely clean, there was mold on the walls, parts of the bedroom floor were loose, and the bed wasn't in good condition.

Everything was correct, but nothing was out of the ordinary. The room was rather small, the shower was VERY small and crammed. But again, nothing was wrong per se; and while not being expensive, it was a bit underwhelming for the price we paid.
