Welcome by a certain "Mathias" was horrible, never been welcomed with such snob and unpleasant attitude. He is unable to explain respectfully and in a diplomatic way to a client a situation that was not understood and not badly intended. He spoke to me in a not acceptable way, we had a dispute in front of my wife and my daughter, and I stopped the show in order to calm down the situation which he was not able to do in first unfortunately. We felt particularly bad to start our stay but then, we didn't see him anymore and all the stay was conform our expectations.

Location was great, near the old town which was fab and not to far of a walk to the new town. Hotel room was ok, could do with decorating. Bar was lovely and the staff in the bar was lovely. The night we stayed the fire alarm went off at 1am. We vacated the hotel but we didn't see one member of staff. We were told by another guest that it was a false alarm. This was very poor communication on behalf of the hotel. On check out nothing was mentioned about the alarm nor where we asked did we enjoy our stay. A bit disappointing.

I cannot understand how this can be a 3 star hotel. We stayed for 2 nights (14th to 16th Feb 2020) and we ended up in a room with a toilet smaller than 2 sqm with snots on the walls. The mattress on the bed was 5cm thick (I think they have thicker ones for camping nowadays) and 180cm long. I'm 190cm tall so I had to sleep with my feet outside the bed. The furniture in the rooms is really outdated too and there was no safe in the room. For breakfast, on the first day when we got to the restaurant 90% of the tables were free but still dirty and no-one was cleaning them. Dishes were missing and we had to look for someone to ask for other ones and waited 5 minutes just for that. Overall breakfast was ok. For the parking on the rear-side, nobody was lifting the barrier even after ringing the bell multiple times and my girlfriend always had to go the reception and ask to open the gate. The friendly personnel and the position close to petite France are the only good things worth nothing.

Not a particularly great location, small rooms, very small bathroom, basic facilities only. The service in the bar area was below standard - often had to wait lengthy periods for any attention. Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

Great location, great breakfast. Recommendation for all, hotel location is near old city and Petite France. TGV railway station is very near.The best part of all is the Strasbourg's Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMCS), located just behind the hotel.

Very small rooms and last refurbishment has been quite some time ago. Still we booked at a good rate. So it was ok. Only the size of the toilet is the weak point. I’m 185cm and barely fit.

Romm small but with everything you need. Staff was friendly. They seem to be all very young and a little bit shy and helpless. Breakfast and restaurant were great. There was a fire alarm in the evening and none of the staff spoke to the guests who all came down to the entrance. We didn't know what was going on and the staff did nothing. On one am at the 1.1.2020 we returned to the hotel. There were a lot of people in the bar, but no staff. When somebody appeared he said that they don't sell alcohol. But the menu said that you get drinks 24 hours a day. A lot of people were really angry.

The room was decent. We have stayed in several properties of ibis, and this one has relatively smaller rooms. The property is less than 1 km from city center and very near to christmas markets. Which is a big plus. The staff is very friendly and nice. Almost everyone spoke english which is a big plus in france! There was a funny mould smell in the bathroom though.

We always try to use ibis hotels for standardized service in good locations. Our experience was okay but we had few problems: 1- no one at your hotels(not only this one but all) knows how to use the app, we bought something and we wanted to earn points but no one in the hotel knows what that app is. Why do you have an app if your employees doesnt know what it is? 2- unfortunately the towels in the room were dirty, this is sad for accor hotels standarda 3- we had a good breakfast but 1-2 cheese slices were already rotten We want to use ibis hotels in the future but please see my comments above for some improvements Mert

I was satisfied with the room (although really small and there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom). Clean room, very kind service. Still I don't think it is worthy the price.
