Very good location in a central but also elegant part of town. The car park was safe and had lots of spaces. The car lift very tight and not suitable for big cars though (and this should be indicated). The room was reasonably priced and also the dog supplement. The room was pretty small, the bed was very comfortable, the same the bathroom. We didn’t like the flooring. The people at the reception were nice, but some seemed a bit inexperienced and could not help us to borrow the games that were promoted inside the lift. We had breakfast outside so we cannot comment on it.

I was a victim of a serious mugging at the hotel. The night shift receptionist allowed an individual walk up to my floor and room without my consent. The drunk visitor knocked on the door and then claimed he was friends with the receptionist and asked for money. As I did not have any I was punched, there was blood everywhere and I ran down to the reception as he tried to steal both my PC and phone. I saved my PC but the phone was stolen. The receptionist feared the criminal had a knife so he let him go rather than resisting him and called the police and firemen. I was taken to the hospital where I got 3 stitches. I then reported the issue to the police where they said that such crimes are increasingly common in Marseille. This was an awful one-night stay in a dodgy place.

Asked my room to be cleaned before I went out for the day, when I was back late night nothing done despite reception promised. No fresh towels, no shower gel, blocked sink…disgusting common area-when was it last cleaned?
