The hotel sent an email informing air con didnot work on the afternoon of my checkin, it was the hottest day in Marseille. The receptionist treated us like it's nothing, they sent us to rooms with cleaners present kicking us out or a room half the size with no air con. Attitudes were terrible. We had to change to another hotel on site. Car park equals no car park, as the reception told us it can only accommodate a small car

We initially chose this hotel because I usually book with Accor when traveling, and this Ibis property was centrally located with the added convenience of underground parking. Upon arrival, however, the receptionist informed us that there was only one key to the parking garage, which was currently with another guest. We had to wait for its return and eventually ended up parking in the city center instead. In addition, the bathroom floor had clumps of hair left behind, and there was hair on the bedsheets. The air conditioner produced a loud, disturbing noise that made it difficult to sleep.

The staff were super friendly. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the gentleman who checked us in, but he was incredibly helpful and nothing was ever an issue. While the service was excellent, the hotel is in need of some serious upgrades. The car park lift was out of order when we arrived, and the toilet flush in our room didn't work. That said, the room was clean, well presented, and smelled fresh.
