Basic but pleasant, staff really helpful on pointing us to the right things to see and we a great help to this single dad Travel system was not clear as based on time but again reception staff where great at explaining and helping ensure I had the best deals to get to where I needed.

This ibis is your standard hotel, the reception area is nice, the staff are very friendly and helpful and there’s always somebody there. Housekeeping were lovely with fresh sheets and towels etc. We were on the top floor and couldn’t hear any noise it was very peaceful. The location is amazing, 50 metres away from shops, trams and busses and the public transport is so regular and easy to use, all the main shops are a short walk. The rooms were bog standard, they had everything you’d need for a short stay, no hairdryer etc so bring your own and not many extras. we wouldn’t have expected to have those extras in the room anyway as it was so budget friendly! It was quite modern, the shower was lovely although the floor does get very wet! Nice black out curtains and we slept very well, there was also Aircon which was easy to work out and very handy as it was a warm weekend! The only slight downside was the lift, this might not be an issue for everybody but as somebody is hesitant about lifts, it was very slow and loud, often quite shaky, I went in it once and didn’t again the whole trip, this was just for me a personal preference. I wouldn’t stay here as a solo female traveller, luckily I was with my partner but I wouldn’t have felt safe alone walking up the hills and round the corner away from the centre, the streets around it seemed very scary even in the day, we had to walk back one night after getting the metro and I felt very unsafe in the area with unlit streets, litter and derelict houses around. This was only as you continue up the hill from the hotel, the area at the bottom with all the transport links is typically fairly busy. Despite the surrounding areas the hotel did feel very safe, I wouldn’t recommend going alone as a female (can’t speak for males but my partner was happy to walk around alone as a male) I would keep in a group to feel safe, again this is personal preference. None of that is the fault of the hotel and our stay in the facility was lovely!

Good stay, everyone friendly

Good stay, receptionist being very helpful for everything! However the housekeeping is very loud, around 9am they start to phone call someone. Even the door is closed, they are very very very loud

While the neighbourhood was not the nicest, very dirty with garbage and graffiti, the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. Especially Lucas at the front desk. I did not get the name of the overnight guy but he was also very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom updated. Would recommend for a couple of night stay but nothing long like a week since rooms are on the smaller side and not much around food wise. There was a grocery store close by that was well stocked.
