I really enjoyed the hotel. only thing is that I was not aware of the difficulty to arrive at the hotel. there is a market just behind and there is always police and lots of people making it difficult for taxis to get there. not very safe in the evening either. but staff super friendly and helpful, great breakfast, comfy room. easy walk to vieux port, le panier. easy to take the bus to the notredame. really liked the experience.

I was given a connecting room and felt unsafe given that I was a solo female traveller. Was met with a little unhappiness at reception when I requested for a room change. Also, I requested ahead for a high floor. The room change landed me in the first floor. View was nice but felt unsafe the entire time because people from the street could look directly into my room. Lilya and the other receptionist on day duty were quite friendly and provided helpful hints to explore around Marseilles. Overall the room cleanliness was pretty good and I liked the housekeeping, except it was not super thorough in the bathroom. Nevertheless, convenient enough location for me to wander. Thankfully the AC worked.

We fully understand that when travelling alone, certain aspects such as room location or the presence of a connecting door can be particularly important. We would, however, like to provide some clarification regarding our connecting rooms: when these rooms are sold individually, the connecting doors remain locked and secured on both sides. They can only be opened when both rooms are booked together. Nevertheless, we regret that this room configuration caused you any discomfort during your stay. We are also sorry that your request to change rooms gave you the impression that it was not well received by our reception team. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We have also taken note of your comments regarding the room location, despite your request for a higher floor, as well as the lack of privacy due to the visibility from outside. We are, however, delighted to read that you appreciated the warm welcome and helpful recommendations provided by Lilya and our reception team, as well as the hotel's convenient location, the air conditioning, and the overall cleanliness of your room.
