Second time I stay in an Ibis Styles and honestly it feels like a scam... 3 stars not deserved. I don't known how Accorhotel can promote this brand as a Stylish one... seems like a budget brand wrapped in stars. Room is clean and designed with bulk red and black colors. Ok. Basic furnishing. Do not expect fridge, nor water. If you need to open the windows, call the receptionist to provide the window key. Do not expect "style" rather a cheap furnishing in room, salon (the welcome salon looks like a child garden). The micro lift is harmful (doors hard to open and with spring.. be careful not to get slammed...) Decent standard breakfast. This is a good 2 stars hotel with very good location in Marseille city center, 7min walk to the Vieux port. Definitely not worth 125 euros. I preferred Mecure nearby for 20 euros more and a standard 4 stars experience.

well located but the access to the room is impossible. The lift is dangerous and not practical at all. We were 2 old ladies and we were separated - one in the new part and the other one in the old part...ridiculous.

Perfect - except for access

Friendly, comfortable, good breakfast, great location in terms of the Old Port; but access was a nightmare. The elevator barely holds one person and a bag, and doesn't stop at every level. Even then, it requires stairs. We had several bags weighing 20kg, and it was almost impossible to manage. If you aren't fit, it is impossible. Also, don't use the hotel address, no one wlll find it. It is an alley with the hotel, pharmacy, and ammunition store. Use the closest major intersection.

Dark room

The room was very dark, only 2 indirect lights that couldn't make it clear. And my room was inclined to the door around 10 degrees of inclination, and the windows painted turning it impossible to see outside.

Well positioned, friendly staff

I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at the beginning of August 2021 and everything was just fine. Rooms was relatively large and clean , staff very friendly and politely and breakfast was good. The hotel is well positioned - only 300 meters far away from the port. From the street the hotel is not quite impressive but overall is a true bargain - cheap, clean and well placed.1 Rooms are exactly like in pictures and the elevator ... well... is unique.

Very convenient stay

The hotel is very well located for a visit to the beautiful city of Marseille. Room was spacious and clean. However, impossible to reach by car. Car was left about 200 metres away in a public parking lot for 2 days and cost a whopping 50 Euros! Breakfast was served in a box and eaten in the room due to the current pandemic restrictions. Overall, I enjoyed the experience very much.

Well located, breakfast could be improved

Clean room, AC is very enjoyable. The room was quite dark even with the window open and the lightning didn't allow to completely light up the room. In the bathroom some additional hangers would have been good. The breakfast was good but the bread and "viennoiseries" were not always fresh. The elevator of the hotel, despite its vintage charm, is horrible to use with its doors closing on you in a harmful way.

Perfect location, very nice rooms

The hotel is in an old building, very original, high ceiling, recently renewed, nice decoration and lighting. Right next the Vieux Port, the location is really ideal for anyone who wants to visit Marseille by foot : Vieux Porc, Mucem, le Panier. The mastress was very comfy, air con saved our summer nights, much space for our luggage and huge bathroom for a city center hotel. Really perfect

I arrived late in the evening hence the receptionist should have known about the last guest for that day. Still it took him five minutes to figure out which room to assign to me. Finally he gave me a room which was … already taken!!! Still the key card was able to open the room. Luckily the other guest wasn't in his room (despite the late evening). Guess what shock he/she had become when a stranger opens the room door late in the evening? The receptionist apologized but again needed 5min to figure out a new room. Simply UNPROFESSIONAL! Breakfast buffet in the morning was OK.
