Friendly staff, clean room, and excellent breakfast choice. Unfortunately the lift was out of action some of the time, and it was a one haul to the fourth floor after a day out, especially as my friend and I are both over seventy.

Friendly staff but hotel not up to other Ibis Styles standards

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we were grateful for their hospitality. However, this hotel's amenities are that of a hostel not that of a 3 star hotel. Our room was extremely basic. The lighting was atrocious and it was very dark. There was no shampoo in the shower, and the shower itself had mould all over and smelled like sewage. The cleaning standards were not great across the entire hotel (dirty staircase, sticky floors, hair in bathroom etc.). We have been using Accor hotels and the Ibis Styles hotels in particular for over a decade all over the world and have never experienced such a run-down and basic hotel. I also doubt that Accor senior management knows that towels are not changed daily and that rubbish is not removed daily either unless upon request (which is quite unhygienic with only one tiny rubbish bin provided in the bathroom). I also suspect it's illegal that this hotel charges for coffee/tea in the common area. The Ibis Styles hotels usually take pride in the provision of free coffee and/or tea in their lobby areas. (Water was supplied in this hotel which was nice.) Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this Ibis Styles hotel due to the disappointing experience of the facilities.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location - 5 minutes from the Vieux Port. Staff was very kind & helpful, & the breakfast was just superb. The room was very nice - the bed was really comfortable - but there were a few quirks: a double room had only 1 chair to sit on at the table provided. There was no safe, & in the bathroom, there was no shower curtain, so trying not to flood the bathroom floor was an ongoing battle.Beyond that, it was a great stay.

Privat Business - Confirmed reviews ALL

The hotel is centrally located, which is basically a good thing. However, a streetcar runs right next to the hotel and the surrounding area was also very noisy, the windows could not block out the noise. The shower in my room was also dripping. Unfortunately, there was only French television. The stable WLAN access was positive. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was also good. So it was a mixed experience.
