I stayed at the Ibis Styles Vieux Port hotel for 3 nights in October 2024. The hotel is really well situated, in an old building just a few streets behind the Vieux Port. It occupies several floors, and there's a fantastic antique lift to take you up and down, should you require it. It was everything that you would expect from an Ibis hotel: clean, efficient, decent breakfast and very helpful staff. I stayed in a double room which was spacious, with fabulous high ceilings and curtains that really blocked out the light to aid sleep. The bathroom was big, too, with a bathtub! I wasn't expecting that: if I'd stayed longer, I would have had a long, luxurious bath, but the shower was fine. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely go back!

I stayed four nights at this hotel and it met my needs very well. My friend and I were within easy walking distance of the Vieux Port, and also enjoyed the weekend bazaar in the neighborhood. Watching the activity in the street in front of Maison Empereur was also fun. I gave the hotel a 9 only because the staff at the Ibis Styles where we stayed in Paris were even friendlier than the Marseille staff.

Generally good but lift was extremely difficult with luggage , language issue on departure and location was poor for taxi/uber access - however breakfast good and room good

Disappointing and quite dirty

Staff very nice. Reception area furniture stained, dirty tables. The carpets look as if they haven’t been cleaned since the hotel opened. Room spacious, but reading light didn’t work. You have to ask for the room to be cleaned, but when we did the sink was still dirty andthe carpet wasn’t hoovered. It’s located in a good place to get around but not worth the money. The breakfast was acceptable.
