Excellent location and lovely, helpful staff. A bit sad that the renovation hadn’t referenced traditional 19th century furnishings more.

Quite small but well-equipped room with a comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom, and adequate plugs. Our room was facing the seafront and pier so the views were spectacular (but quiet when the windows were closed). The bar was lovely with friendly barkeep. Great location. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient.

Loved the hotel location and the bar was nice with a lovely view. We had a terrace suite which had beautiful views and two balconies but it had been raining and the outdoor furniture was fabric and soaking wet so unusable. The suite was spacious but full of old fashioned pieces of furniture which looked out of place. The bed was huge and comfortable but none of the sheets fitted and so any movement caused wrinkled sheets which is uncomfortable and unnecessary. Overall a great stay with some niggles.
