The location was perfect, the neighborhood quiet, the staff very friendly, and the amenities worked well. The only area for improvement in our experience was that we arrived at the hotel a couple of hours after check-in time, yet the shower soap hadn't been replenished, and there were still marks in the sink from the previous guest.

Everyone who works at Mama Shelter Marseille was very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was BANGIN’ and worth the cost. We did get assigned an ADA room, we are not handicapped, I felt a bit bad about that. I would love more ledges in the bathroom to put toiletries and all that. Comfy bed, quiet spot.

Overall it was a below standard stay. Staff were hit and miss. Some were lovely and really helpful, others had a bit of a attitude for some reason. I feel like the room would of been better with carpet. Expectations were high given I stayed in Mama Shelter Nice when they had just opened last year, so staying in Marseille when it has also recently opened I was excited, sad to say it was disappointing.

Always nice staying Mama Shelter. Anywhere. In this instance the room for my girlfriend and I was a little small for two and situated directly next to the lift shaft, which sounded likes a space craft descending to earth whenever in use! Friendly, helpful staff 👍🏼
