Hotel room had several issues: smelly drain in bathroom that made whole room smell, leaking bathroom sink, charging points on wall that would only work with lights on meaning that we couldn't charge our phones over night. When I phoned reception at 8pm and asked for two mugs to be brought to the room so that we could actually use the kettle, they said they don't do room service sowe would have to go to the restaurant ourselves to get these. We were not asked at checkout how our experience had been.

Mama Shelter is a much better than average 3*, and a safe bet in any city. Liked the vibe, and the dj, the room was clean and had a useful kitchenette. Only issues were people working on laptops in the dining room, making sales calls etc killed the holiday mood when we went for dinner. That and the ants crawling on the sofa by the window and all over me made us choose to eat elsewhere that night! Breakfast is always good and the omelettes were on point.

The hotel is quite good, the room is nice apart from the bathroom but that's a concept,their offer wonderful cookies ! The restaurent is good and open until dawn, One of the receptionist is rude but the other one is delightful,
