It was well maintained and very clean rooms and quiet ,friendly staff as well

great room, would rate higher if not for the breakfast. The breakfast at the Labor club was terrible

Firstly hotel was great but breakfast get charged for kids normally included in Accor membership price. Didn't tell us at the time of booking. Secondly pillow in room were very high. I still have neck pain due to this. Otherwise overall stay was good

Extremely happy with unit. When booking in got upgraded to superior room with king size bed. Brand new motel with new "car smell". The staff at reception very helpful.

Great experience

I stayed one night. Room was comfortable and had everything i needed. Staff friendly and polite. Price was very affordable and the location excellent.

Good points - Excellent exterior soundproofing, everything new, helpful staff. Not so good points - very little soundproofing in what was supposed to be an apartment with separate bedroom. Sliding glass doors surrounding the bedroom provided almost no barrier to light or sound. First person to get up in the morning has to sit silently in darkness in order not to disturb the other. On check in the nice lady told us about the guest laundry and I thought to myself, she didn't notice that we had an apartment. Then we get to the room and what? No washer dryer?! What kind of self contained apartment is this? Luckily we could use my mum's washing machine. Couldn't find the coffee plunger (although there was a handy colander, ice bucket and grater). Called reception. There is no coffee plunger! Luckily my mum had a spare we could borrow. Went to bed and found the pillows to be massive and uncomfortable. Hmmm I remember a review that said there were no alternative pillows on offer so didn't bother calling reception. Both of us wake up on Christmas Day with neck pain/headache. The shops are shut so we can't buy more comfortable pillows. But wait, my mum can lend us two pillows! Woke up feeling so much better the next day. Although due to the glass doors there's light coming in from all sides - the microwave (turned it off), the mysterious buttons beside the door (covered them with the ironing board), the air conditioner (put masking tape over the button) and the smoke alarm (thought we'd better leave that one alone). I seem to remember that the nearby 'Abode' also has apartments. They do, and every single one of the 152 of them has a washer/dryer and coffee machine! If only I hadn't paid upfront we could have moved. My husband was luckily very understanding, saying it was an eyes in the back of your head situation and he didn''t blame me for the semi-debacle. Just one more thing - said mysterious buttons near the door. I thought I'd worked them out but clearly not as room service came in when I thought I'd signalled not to. Felt my privacy was invaded (but don't blame housekeeping as I didn't have the right ones pressed). Perhaps a sign near the door explaining there use would are possible?

Great sized room, clean and easy access to the city and all attractions.

Pleasantly surprised. Hotel is new and in great condition. Check-in process was straightforward and staff well versed in covid procedures to make us feel safe. Car park was great value at $10 per night. Staff were knowledgeable and courteous. Made use of laundry as well. Only but missing was a restaurant to use my Accor plus dining benefit. Will not hesitate to stay again when next in Canberra.

My only complaint would be that the fan in the air conditioning was blowing a breeze even though I had the temperature set to 29 degrees! I hate the cold!

Excellent

Everything you need for a restful, comfortable stay is provided and has been well thought out. Air-con is great, lighting is fabulous, windows floor to ceiling make it a beautiful light atmosphere. Bed is comfortable and bedding crisp and luxurious. Housekeeping is terrific. Completely noiseless in the room. Lifts are quick and quiet. Staff are courteous, efficient and friendly. Quite simply, this hotel is one of the very best we have stayed at. We visit Canberra reasonably often and will make this our headquarters each time. Plus the advantage of having the Labor Club virtually attached making it safe. Car parking is great too.

The room was a good size, facilities for disabled access was excellent, the staff were polite and helpful and the bed was comfortable.

There is nothing or could fault with our stay there and would highly recommend staying there and look forward to coming back to stay there next time I would like to thank management and staff for a great stay.
