Location was very good, room was clean (although the smell of cleaning products was too strong). Senior staff could be slightly nicer, they were ok, but I always felt apologetic when asking questions, for "disturbing them". Overall the experience was good and I'd stay there again in a visit to Rio.

The staff is very friendly, especially the restaurant staff. However, it's a small hotel, not very convenient if you need to work from the lobby or your room. The rooms are small and quite noisy; I'm not sure if it's the plumbing. The refrigerator was also quite noisy. The view, at least from my room, wasn't very good; it overlooked the building's central courtyard. I was there on business, and my company chose the hotel, but if I had the choice, I would go to a better-located hotel.
