I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the room size was extremely tiny and it was cramped and claustrophobic, with barely enough space to move around or open my suitcase fully. Secondly, the staff member seemed disinterested and slow. Additionally, there was a persistent detergente odor in the room when I walked in. Lastly, The final bill did not match what was advertised on the booking website. There were additional charges that were not clearly disclosed beforehand.

Although it's a very good location, I think the room is too small for two people, and could have a separation in the bathroom. Otherwise, the reception and the staff are superb, and their information was invaluable.

Great hotel. Located almost straight on tge beach. Very clean, very reliable high speed wifi But beware of surrounding areas like highways and under the bridges that lead to Copacabana- gangs of violent criminals may operate there, use Uber or metro
