The worst service I've ever had at ibis. Guilherme, the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude. I requested for a room for a couple and he asked if it would be with or without breakfast. I asked "what the difference" and he answered me "one is with and the other is without breakfast", of course I was referring to the price, but rudely he didn't answer. Then, after paying for the room, he informed me that there was no standard room, only the one for accessibility. At no time did he say that he would only have this room before paying. And, asking again the difference between the standard and the accessibility room he just confirmed that it was the same (but of course it wasn’t). There were many other rude comments about my ID that I don’t want to expose myself but it was just as bad or maybe worse. All in all, the facilities were ok, nothing to complain about, but the staff services were very unpleasant.

The staff and hotel were exceptional from check-in to check-out. The location was an excellent choice, offering easy walking access to the beach and nearby rooftop restaurants. I'm certain where I'll be staying on my next visit to the area.

Unfortunately my experience was definitely bad. The bedroom has a bad smell, illumination and air circulation. No frigobar inside the room and no basic service, even paid what made me to have a dinner using my hands, because the hotel didn´t have any fork and knife to borrow or even to sell. I really can understand that IBIS Budget has a limited service, but the IBIS Budget Botafogo definitely is under than the minimum accepted service. I´m waiting only the receipt because it was not delivered to me yet and I need it.
