This boutique hotel is a gem on Copacabana beach. Easy( very affordable ) access by Uber to all over Rio's attractions. We arrived at the hotel early and were welcomed by Mariana ( so glad she spoke fluent English). We were celebrating my wife's 50th and Mariana went above and beyond to speak to her boss about upgrading our room with the best view. All the hotel staff were great but Mariana was our go to guide.She helped us with everything from getting tickets to Bruno Mars concert,recommending things to do and avoid.Her recommendations and guidance made this celebration very special and we came home with memories of a lifetime.The hotel is right next to JW Marriott and right on Copacabana beach.Mariana gave us a welcome drink and send a special champagne and chocolate to celebrate. Breakfast was amazing especially being able to sit outside and watch the waves of the ocean and seeing people enjoying on the beach.

Initial room was inappropriate as we were allocated a disability unit which had an enlarged wet zone and a smaller bedroom space with a much smaller bed. We requested a standard side room with balcony and sea view but were told there weren't any. However we returned to the desk with our cases and made it clear that we were unhappy and that we would prefer an alternative. This was provided about an hour later. Food was good, as was the service. Towels available for the beach (and chairs if required). Note that sea views are partial on the right hand side rooms. Prime central location.

I find this hotel has good location but need improved some staff not understanding English very difficult to can solve any problem , as send laundry it take time to send some to take from the room the housekeeping very get them to clean the room i left early morning and i told front desk to do room , but i came back same no duty manager come to see me or call me to follow up i feel this hotel need more action from the group Accor .until this time i never received my hotel invoice for my room when checked out the staff said will email today 22 October no any news from the hotel.

The hotel is poorly maintained, seems very rundown. The bed linens and pillows were very uncomfortable.
