Stayed here for 6 nights and really felt welcomed. The reception staff and bar staff were really friendly and helpful, and they spoke english. The hotel has a nice bar area to relax and have a drink. The hotel restaurant has a great selection of food and an amazing lunch buffet. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and has adapted rooms. However the adapted rooms seem to have a ramp access to the door which makes it a little difficult to hold the chair on the ramp and open the door at the same time. Nevertheless i would recommend this hotel and i myself and likely to stay here again on my next visit to Rio.

There is always room service available if I need it which is awesome. The access to chargers was there and it made my stay so much easier. I love how helpful staff is at Ibis and I found everyone to be incredibly professional and friendly. The food served for breakfast and dinner were all great and I’m happy to have been given the choice of a higher floor upon arrival.

I think the hotel deserves no more than 3 stars. Staff was friendly but the hotel lacked a few things: higher pressure for water which for the sink was poor and also, please put shampoo into the bathrooms in large bottles and do not polute the nature by just giving the customers 1 or 2 bags (1 was too little for us as a couple). These bags are poluting our nature and more and more hotels have systems where there are biger bags to be refilled by staff. Overall not bad but things can be improved.

A lot of humidity, there is a lack of dehumidifiers especially in the hallway where there are carpets that accumulate a lot of moisture and dust. Old towels and old sheets On two occasions after take a shower , the personnel did not leave towels in my bathroom although the apartment was cleaned. On two occasions my apartment was not cleaned,

The room is very well kept and air-conditioning works fine too. The lack of air-conditioning at the floor's corridor is a problem, because it's too hot in Rio de Janeiro in the summer season. Mattress could be more comfortable. I was informed that breakfast was served between 6h30 and 11h30. I arrived at the breakfast room exactly at 6h35 and it wasn't ready. I had to eat only what was already served. The belt that closes the entry was still there. at 7h, the serving tables were still not completely assembled. I consider this a major fault, since breakfast is expensive at Ibis.

I arrived later in the hotel, had no problems in checking in, went to the room, had a shower and slept. Did not even had time to check on TV, wardrobe or air conditioner conditions. Next day I woke up, had a shower and went for breakfast before leaving. Breakfast was Ok. Some missing items, the toaster was full of old chesse, but all in all it was ok.
