Overall I enjoyed my night here. 2 things that you should be aware of. 1. The car park charges are a bit off a p*ss take. 2. Other than a coop, there is nothing of note near the hotel. I ended up getting the train in to central Cambridge and walking back to the hotel.

Stayed here for our onsite system training and from the moment we arrived the entire staff were fantastic to us. We were left very thoughtful welcome gifts in our rooms upon arrival which was very appreciated by us. Would definitely come back and stay.

Super friendly staff, ideal location, beautiful rooms. The bar manager (i think his none is allan) was very helpful and chatty . Rooms were very big and had lots of facilities including a fridge .

The hotel was very well located, very convenient for the A14, with good bus and train connections right next to the hotel and well-stocked convenience store opposite. Room and general hotel surroundings very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Reception staff were very attentive and helpful. The gym, pool and sauna facilities were very welcome though it was a shame that the jacuzzi was out of order during our stay.

1. Its not obvious that the parking is shared with the station and the pay by phone app is poor only giving you a "day" which ends at 4:00 am so you end up paying for 2 days - Just a sign near the entrance would save a lot of faffing 2. I had to wait ages to check in 3. Some one else was also allocated my room so this person opened the door while I was in the room 4. I had to wait for 20 minutes to get a menu in the Restaurant after I was shown my table the food when it arrived was very good. 5. I was offered a free glass of quality wine and staff did apologise I was offered an up grade and free breakfast however when I checked out the bill still contained the breakfast price ok I could have challenged this but the onus is on the hotel to knock the amount off having said they would
