I recently stayed at Hotel Chadstone and couldn’t have been more pleased. The entire experience was smooth, relaxing, and well-appointed.
Highlights of the stay:
Breakfast: The morning buffet had an excellent variety of fresh, delicious options that set up the day perfectly.
Parking: On-site parking was straightforward and very convenient.
Atmosphere & Service: Professional, welcoming staff and a calm, upscale atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Having direct access to Chadstone right next door is great, but the hotel itself stands out on its own merits. Would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it!

We stayed at the Hotel Chadstone as part of the Jessie McPherson Parenting Sanctuary. The room was beautiful, bed supremely comfortable, shower spot on and the food phenomenal! We did struggle somewhat as parents of a newborn, noting that this was exactly what this stay was intended for. We needed more linen than supplied for two adults, a newborn and a recent delivery means we go through a lot. A chair / foot stall for breast feeding would go a long way. The room chair was low backed and deep set (also cream, so I felt a little stressed by this). A freezer would also be useful. Dry disappointingly I asked the team to store my frozen colostrum in the hotel and freezer and it was returned to me defrosted, clearly having been in the fridge. All that liquid gold I had painstakingly collected had to be thrown in the bin 😩.

For the most part my stay was great. I got an upgraded room and the staff were lovely. Very clean room and comfy bed. Unfortunately my upgraded room was right above where they were doing a very late night Pilates class. The bass from the music felt like it was drilling into my skull. I rang reception and they said the class was finishing around 11pm which was not ideal for me as I had been up since 5am and had a really long day and was looking forward to an early night . Apart from that my stay was good but I am a bit weary of staying there again just not knowing what events will be going on around me.

Surprised the bed and pillows were so hard and uncomfortable. Room not ready upon arrival at 5pm and no extra towel to dry hair etc. Toilet leaked in 718. But well located and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is conveniently next to the Chadstone mall which has everything. There are EV chargers too in the mall car park which is perfect for ppl who drives EV. The room has large floor to ceiling windows that has great view and makes the room spacious.

Overall, we had a great stay. Room was lovely, pool space and facilities great. Room service was accomdating and efficient. Only issue was with the 1hr check-in. The line was endless and the staff were quite slow. Not enough staff on for what is obviously a popular time to check-in. We arrived at 3:30 and didn't get to our room until 5:15pm.

We have been coming here few times ever since the hotel first opened. This year is the first time we get to come with Platinum status but this particular stay was second time this year. First time was so sweet and memorable even to my boy, this time around however is just very ordinary. Turned out a the simplest effort/gesture by management (a piece of chocolate with sleep tight cup of tea daily at night time, higher floor --> earlier stay this year) could mean so much for the guest.
Nothing really special from the stay last weekend, very ordinary. Perhaps we came at such a busy time - nevertheless we'd expect a bit more especially for regular/member level.
We could see that the hotel is aging in some spot where pannelling starts coming off in bathroom, rusts around the cabana at the pool. A bit sad to see but we still enjoy the stay though very ordinary this time around.

Initial impressions are important and unfortunately check in was not satisfactory. We were thankfully at the front of the long line but it took so long to process each person. I also did not need to hear about all of the hotel services when the line was so long. The remainder of our stay was lovely, especially the massage at the beatiful spa. The room was lovely.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and well appointed. The rooftop bar has excellent views. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms including bathroom were spacious.
For those wanting to shop at the Chadstone centre it's well-placed, but there isn't a lot else of visitor interest within walking distance. It's about 40-50 minutes by bus and train to the City Centre. I would have appreciated a guide to other places of interest nearby (e.g. restaurants, music venues, cultural & visitor attractions).
