The check in was at 3pm but at 5pm when we wanted to check in apparently the rooms were still not ready for some. Which is extremely disappointing. The key card to the pool didn’t work so we constantly had to ask someone inside to open the door for us (happened to several people) and the most frustrating thing: I was told I can park at the Chadstone carpark only to have the carpark shut down on Sunday morning and being stuck for a while. I had to race to get help and ring a number only to be told they are on their way. If it wasn’t for the extremely helpful concierge gentleman I would have been stuck even longer and missed my son’s soccer match (for which we came into the city). That is very distressing as there are people in a rush and that is simply unacceptable.

two occasions I had coffee and the coffee was cold. I found the drinks extremely expensive considering the location. as of today I’m still nurturing an eye infection which I believe accord somehow from the bed.

Location and room were nice Check in was slow and confused and there were staff walking around aimlessly while a queue developed. On the discharge morning we asked about a later checkout through guest services which sounded like it was a call centre. We were told we would get a call back and heard nothing. When I rang to get our car ready we were told that a late check out was ok but by then we’d made other plans as we’d heard nothing. I wouldn’t have minded had the just said no but the poor communication on arrival and then the next morning is disappointing.

My daughter and I had the most fabulous 3-night stay at Hotel Chadstone. Although it's large it manages to retain a beautiful luxury boutique hotel feel. The rooms a very well appointed, the public areas are beautiful and extremely well serviced and maintained. The rooftop bar and pool are stunning spots to watch the sunset and admire the city lights at night. The location, being a very short undercover walk to Chadstone Mall is perfect for those wanting to enjoy some retail therapy. The complimentary use of luxury bathrobes and slippers was appreciated and the beds/pillows were exquisitely comfortable. We were made to feel extremely special by the check-in staff (thank you Dean), as well as the restaurant staff during our 4 course dinner on the Saturday evening.
