Was good except the air conditioner only worked on fan !! Complained to the desk personnel, and still only worked on fan. Our stay was spoilt by lack of sleep due to the weather being humid and aircon not working. As we have horses racing local will look else where when we return from Perth.

We originally booked 2 nights. 1 bed app on the 15 floor. No noise but the bedroom was very small. Actually difficult to walk around the bed! We checked out and rebooked another night as our flight was cancelled Had a 2 bed app on level 6. Room size was much better. Unfortunately we had no towels and the phone didn’t work. The room was very noisy. Next time we will request a higher level

I had high expectations of this property and for the price and location I expected better facilities and a more quality property. We arrived on a very hot Melbourne day to find that air conditioning was not installed in the bedrooms of our apartment. And the apartment was stiflingly hot as air con was not switched on in anticipation of arrival. Bathrooms were basic and we ran out of toilet paper during our stay (and milk for that matter which, for four of us was 6 of those frustrating little UHT 30 ml pots). No pool. Only one small lounge chair in the very small combined lounge/dining/kitchen. A balcony that was not inviting. Furniture was in desperate need of a dust. I expect so much more from the Sebel brand. On the up side, check in was efficient and staff were accessible. We asked for a late check out and that was no problem.

Recently stayed at the Sebel Melbourne which was our second stay having stayed in a 2 Bedroom Apartment for the F1 last March. This time needed a bigger apartment as had 6 of staying - 4 Adults and 2 little ones. We stayed on the top floor of the Sebel and had a great view of the city during the day and night. There is a patio area available for entertaining or sunbaking. The apartment had everything you needed for a stay with a good size fridge and even a wine fridge. Dishwasher and Washing Machine/Dryer are all available. Our room configuration was 2 King Beds and 2 Single Beds between the 3 rooms. Each room had a good view out it’s window. Tram and Train are close by and Coles is just up the road with Woolies a bit further if you need to buy groceries. Good position if you need to go to Caulfield Racecourse. Will definitely stay again.

Clean and reasonably comfortable. It was very close to where I had a function and to the railway station for my partner to catch the train into the city for his function. We liked the fact that there was a separate living room in the apartment and the kitchenette allowed us to bring our own breakfast. Bedroom was a bit small for the king size bed and the mattress was a bit harder than we were used to, we also found the quilt too hot. Spare blankets were too high up. The view was amazing! However blinds didn't block out morning sun well enough. The ironing board was very difficult to use as there were no big enough surfaces near a powerpoint to use it. A full sized freestanding ironing board would have been better. Needed suitcase stands for luggage also. Shelves in the bathroom were inadequate. We had to place toiletery bags on the floor. Having said that overall we found our stay was very pleasant.

I found the hotel to be a bit out of the way, with a lack of good local food options. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Only feedback on the room is that there was not a shower towel and I couldn't find spare toilet role. The one in pence had about 10 sheets left.

For most of the stay the lifts were not operational (due to one lift locked off for staff and the other used by housekeeping staff) - walked to the 16th floor by the stairs twice and was late for meetings because of delayed exit. Left one night early because of this. housekeeping staff also advised they couldn’t service room later - when they came it at noon (they blamed the lift) - we were in the room because I had to work from the hotel because we couldn’t get out in time.

I'm a regular stayer and its always pretty good. However, the aircon in room 1515 was banging and disrupted sleep in the main bedroom. When the aircon was shut off, it stopped. I was going to say something at checkout, but there was a queue so I just dropped the cards and took off.

The room would have been good if complete, it was missing a phone, tv antenna (therefore we could not watch tv), iron and ironing board, coffee cups, hairdryer, and probably more. When I phoned to ask for an ironing board we were told they couldn’t find one and they would send one in the morning, this did not happen and I had to phone again twice in the morning to get one. I was then given the excuse, “this is a new room which is why it is missing so many things”. This is unacceptable, especially when charging full rate. I was told all of these issues would be passed onto the manager, but given the staffs carefree attitude I doubt this happened.
