Room was well equipped. Terribly squashy for 4 adults. Barely any room around the beds. Tiny bathrooms. Could’ve been cleaner

The apartment I was allocated was a one bedroom on the 14th floor overlooking the homes of Malvern. It was well appointed, comfortable bed, small but adequate bathroom and a kitchenette with Miele appliances. I would highly recommend for anyone needing to visit Cabrini Hospital.

Overall very good. clean comfortable well appointed apartment. 2 slight problems, despite being a non smoking apartment there was a slight cigarette smell present, and no hair dryer.

When I booked and paid for my accommodation I paid for parking for both nights of my stay. I paid for parking in a gated carpark because I believed my car would be safe. On returning from the hospital late at night on the 10th June after visiting my husband, I could not find a suitable parking spot and proceeded to the next level, I inadvertently parked in a private area – which I did not know was private parking – there was no signage indicating Hotel guests could not park on that level, and nothing which prevented my access to that level. I did not deliberately park in an unauthorised area. I did not deliberately flout the Hotel rules, when I parked my car. When I went to my room, I believed I was in an appropriate parking area, and I thought my car was safe. How Wrong was I, during the early hours of the next morning my car was removed from the Hotel car park and towed to a storage depot more than 50 km away. While acknowledging my error in parking on the wrong level, I believe the hotel, let me as a customer down very badly. There is no sign indicating that Hotel Guests cannot park on the upper levels. When I arrived and registered my car registration was taken, yet nobody rang me to tell me that my car was about to be towed and instruct me to move it, when it was found to be incorrectly parked. In fact as I was not told that my car had been towed until I came down to reception having wandered around all 3 levels of the carpark looking for it, and the distress that caused me could have been avoided by a phone call. I suggest in the name of improved customer service, • on registration either a specific car park be allocated to guests, • or that a sign be handed to guests with their phone and room numbers for display on their dashboard should any problems be encountered with their car, including any damage that may be caused by other guests. • Signs be installed telling hotel guests that upper levels are not available to them. • Should reception become aware of any incidents relating to guests property in the carpark they be advised immediately. As you are aware I was hugely distressed this morning when told my car was towed – what a betrayal of trust, and even more so when I arrived at the storage depot to be faced with an invoice for $660 which needed to be paid in order to retrieve my car. Although you Godwill found the location of my car, I was not advised that I would have to pay $660 to retrieve it, my shock and distress was exacerbated no end by the request Cash or Card…. I can’t express how very angry and disappointed I am. I was let down badly by the company on security of my property and myself (wandering fruitlessly through the carpark. I incurred substantial costs that could have been avoided with a simple phone call to my room, and although I was already stressed worrying for my husband, this was amplified hugely by having my car towed. Instead of trusting in Accor Hotels I should have left my car in the street, it probably would have been there when I went back for it in the morning – it certainly would not have cost me $660 to retrieve it and I would not have paid for a service that was not provided.

Great location, great facilities, friendly staff, good parking. Will definately stay here again. Needed to go to Cabrini hospital & Sebel Malvern was luxury accomodation at an affordable price. Add in Uber eats (during COVID restrictions) .... perfect! But room has full cooking facilities . Will definately stay again!!

Nice and new apartments. Within 10 min walk to Caulfield Train Station and 5 mins to the bus that I needed. Bottle shop 1 min walk (next door) and Coles near the train station. Overall a good location for transport but not for eating out at nice restaurants! The apartment was small in regard to it was long and narrow but it was spotlessly clean and new so no complaints there. I even had a balcony and as I was on level 9 it was unobstructed views for miles, once you looked passed the train line and I could see the sea to the right. If you're a light sleeper though I would request a room on the other side of the train station (i.e. not on Dandenong Rd) as there were goods trains during the night which woke me up. I also had a noisy neighbour but that's not the fault of the Sebel! Only thing missing is a restaurant/bar as I've stayed in other Sebel apartments and they did have these amenities. Travelling on business the last thing I want to do is cook so that was my only downside to staying here as there aren't any nice restaurants in walking distance. (Lots of cheap most takeaway places near the train line) if you like that. Unfortunately I only spent 3 nights due to COVID-19 meaning I had to get home earlier than planned. I lost my Accor member 'free night' and the staff didn't know how to credit my account back but at least I didn't lose any $$$$ as such but it's a shame under the current climate that my free room couldn't be carried over for once I can travel again post COVID-19 restrictions. So overall, would I stay again? If I had to I suppose I would as it was clean and the staff were friendly enough but if I am only staying for a few nights again (which is typical for business) due to the fact of not having anywhere onsite or close by to eat at night then I wouldn't return. I'm not going to go to the trouble of buying in groceries for short term stays.
