I have stayed in the Chen several times in the past few years and always stay here if I come back to Melbourne. The Chen is next to Box Hill Railway and Tram stations, the shopping centre and so many great restaurants. The hotel is cozy and staff are friendly and provide great services.

great choice

loved the rooftop pool and the fact that it was heated! rooms were clean and comfortable. only qualms were that the tv was very slow to operate, you had to sign in to watch channels and wifi kept dropping out. overall i would stay again given the pricepoint as it's outside of the city but still closely located to so many great restaurants.
