I barely write a review but this time. I felt very welcomed by staff at Chen even though I checked in during midnight. No complain about the room and its view. However, laundry needs a good cleaning as there were residues and the smell wasn’t good, which had been addressed to staff. Hopefully this will not be an issue again for my next stay.

Air conditioning in the room was dysfunctional and making horrible noise, shower leaking, not enough towels provided, staff couldn't locate earplugs, water station unavailable, pool heater wasnt working, gym extremely cramped.

We had a brilliant short stay at The Chen. The beds were super comfortable, the room well appointed, but the stand out was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay with three teens and a hospital appointment easy. We’d return just for their kindness, but the room was great too, and all with great food options downstairs and shopping centre across the street.

I have been here before so I know how good this hotel is. I got room 420. The only room with a view of the car park and the back alley. All the other rooms face the tram line.

Clean and contemporary hotel well located in an area well serviced for Asian cuisine. Great artwork with an interesting story about the artist playing in our room. We particularly liked having a Juliet balcony to sit out on. The staff were very friendly and there was no audible noise from other guests when inside our room.

Well located close to the Epworth Hospital about a 5 min walk. (wife had an appointment there) Very comfortable room and the directions for check in and parking were well explained. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended
