We visited Paris from the States and expected the rooms to be quite small, but we were pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious and comfortable perfect for my family of five. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly and the rooms were amazing. The only thing that I think need improving is breakfast variety, it does not offer vegan or vegetarian options.

Unfortunately the bar closes at 10pm on weekends and 11pm in the week. As we were there for the weekend we were out late and would have liked to have been able to enjoy a drink in the bar or to take to our room but there was no service after 10pm. The first room we were given had Lino coming off the floor in the bathroom due to water ingress. When you stepped in it, it was unstuck from the floor and water seeped out everywhere. The door to the bedroom also had severe damage to the wood around the lock, as if it had been broken not at some point, but not repaired. We were moved as soon as we made them aware of these problems. However the new room had screws missing from the metal lock keep on the door, meaning that each time you opened the door it would swing loose and you had to put it back in place before you could shut the door. I asked for a screw to be put in to keep it in place, which was done, but which fell out the next morning as hadn’t been done properly. Over all just not what I expected from a 4 star mercure hotel.

I stayed for 9 days in the hotel and bed sheet was not changed, room not properly cleaned for the whole time. There were small ants on the table and smell not pleasant. Definitely not worth the money. My visit was for business, and I wouldn't stay again at this hotel and not recommend to anyone.
