We stayed on a Monday & Tuesday nights the hotel didnt seem busy. The room nicely simple but modern with a spacious balcony and limited water views. There was no coffee sachet's and only a few green tea bags no English breakfast in usual selection. So we called reception answered by a very unpleasant almost rude lady explaining shes the only one working and too busy at that time. Surely someone from housekeeping can help as they obviously didnt top up correctly that morning. The table on the balcony was wobbly we couldnt be bothered calling reception to hear about someone's problems! Overall felt we payd 5 star prices for a 3 star experience so not good value for money.

Right from the start the staff were so friendly and helpful. I couldn't believe the the size and cleanliness of the room. The restaurant that was part of the motel was fantastic. Huge portion for a very reasonable cost. My overall experience was beyond satisfied.

We were in Redcliffe for 3 family events and all stayed at the Sebel . Our rooms were very comfortable and the staff at Sunny’s restaurant, especially the gentleman whom I guess was the manager , was very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us . Will definitely be back if in Redcliffe again.

A nice place to stay, being very modern, spacious and well located. The only part that wasn’t ideal was the fact that the bins were not lined. I asked reception if this was normal and they said it was a new standard for all Accor hotels, which is strange to me because I would think it’s more clean and hygienic to have bin liners supplied.

We did enjoy our stay and the Sebel. Margate is an area we haven’t stayed before, normally choosing the heart of Redcliffe. The Sebel exceeded my expectations. We had a part view on the sea from a very good sized balcony. The balcony furniture was very nice to sit in and enjoy nibbles. The housekeeping staff keep the Sebel to an excellent high standard of cleanest, also friendly for a good morning or a hello. The decor in the bedroom/ apartment was very nice with high quality linens. They provided bench towels which was a bonus. The reception lady/person who greeted us on arriving was truly lovely very helpful and welcoming. “Sunny” the restaurant/ cafe/bar in the ground floor was very good. Used by locals also, making it a good indication that you get good food, value for money and friendly service. There were just a couple of things that could have made our stay of 3 nights better, 1) a toaster in the kitchen, was told it didn’t have one due to them setting of the smoke detectors in the rooms. I felt this was a fod off as i have never come across this before. 2) no where to do your laundry. We would have been happy to pay to do a load of laundry on site but had to somewhere else. 3) The Sebel offer the use of bikes for free. I felt this was wonderful until i saw them. There was about 8 bike they were mostly all small in size with no gears of anything. They were very rusted (that the salt for the sea) We packed the highest 2 bikes, i noticed there was no were to put your water or bathing gear. You need a back pack. Then the hamlets were to small to fit my husbands head, I was okay, they were all to small. This was a bummer.

Have always enjoyed staying at the Sebel Redgate. However I was totally shocked with the quality of food and lack of items on the menu that made us go away from the hotel instead of relaxing and enjoying the surrounds of the views I arranged to take a client of ours to experience of a great steak (previous visit was awesome) My client ordered a medium steak when it arrived it was very rare on taking it back he watched in disbelief it was put in the microwave and then re served. On this occasion we could not even order a hamburger to either room service or in the restaurant. It was next morning the reception staff let us know on enquiring what was going on with the menu and food and was informed that it was something to do with no gas but after 3 days ?? I simple notice to clients may have helped understand what has happened to the place.

No bin bag in any rubbish bin, musty smell in room. You can hear people stomping upstairs all night and the hardest beds with thin pillows to wake up with no sleep and terrible back and neck pain

Our room had no shelving at all for clothes or other possessions, which is disappointing to say the lease for a seven night stay. we did not expect to have only our suitcase to stow everything except for those items which could be hung in a very small closet with the ironing board. definitely not good enough for the price paid. the best part of the room was the disabled bathroom which was excellent.
