This used to be an excellent hotel. The online checkin app fell over, followed by insistent email demands I complete it. Not sure why, when I emailed in advance, I couldn't get a midday checkin granted as a platinum member; the response was possibly maybe. Like hello, you're an airport hotel. Never mentioned outcome when we checked in at midnight. Slept through breakfast so can't comment on that. Don't much like the machine checkin either. The negatives are multiplying.

I received multiple emails requesting me to self check in before my arrival. One email I couldn’t actually read because the text and background contrast left it unreadable so I had to cut and paste the text from the email to a blank document to understand (I can provide a screenshot if required). ONE EMAIL IS ENOUGH! I don’t need multiple reminders. It’s my choice if I want to pre check in or not. Three emails was ridiculous! I checked into the hotel around 1am and had only one night stay. I asked for a late check from the receptionist and he provided a complimentary midday check out. I was therefore surprised by an 11.10am call from reception to ask when I was checking out! IMPROVE YOUR SYSTEMS TO PREVENT THIS ANNOYANCE! Upon entering my room, I found I had been allocated a disabled room. This is not a problem for me, but it would have been nice to have been advised by the receptionist before going up to the room. A simple “we only have this type of room remaining” would be a perfectly fine explanation.
