There’s nothing inherently wrong with this hotel, it’s conveniently located near the airport and within walking distance of the terminal. However, as a frequent traveler and loyal Accor guest, I find the $100 holding deposit policy puzzling and concerning, particularly given the following circumstances: 1. I checked in late at 1:30 am and checked out by 8:00 am. 2. My room was already fully prepaid. 3. There was no minibar in the room that would justify a deposit. So, what is the purpose of the $100 deposit? Other Accor properties, such as Sofitel and even Ibis, don’t request such deposits. For a brand like Pullman, which positions itself as a premium offering, this policy feels misaligned with the expected guest experience. It undermines the brand’s promise, leaves a sense of distrust, and erodes loyalty. Experiences like this make me question my ongoing preference for the brand.

Unfortunately, the Pullman Brisbane Airport didn't live up to our recent stay at another Airport Pullman overseas. The location is obviously convenient for those transiting the Airport, the rooms are most satisfactory and the amenities are up to the standards expected of Pullman. However, the staff are little cold. No warm greetings at anytime from front desk staff and atrocious service at the Apron Bar. It was somewhat pleasing that a manager eventually appeared to identify we were having issues and brought us napkins at the end of our meals. We'll be back but with less expectation.
