Room was clean and tidy, the only thing I noticed was the handle on the bathroom door was loose.

Disappointing compared to other Ibis budget hotels I’ve stayed at. Bathroom needs a good scrub, noisy air con. Staff were young but friendly. Hotel not up to usual Accor standards.

Rude check in staff. And it felt like we were at a backpackers. I expected more from. This brand/group

Unhelpful reception staff, tiny and extremely dirty rooms. I’m blonde but I could have mad a black wig from the hair in the shower, on the bathroom floor and around the bed. The basin and toilet stunk like faeces.

In view of cancelled flights due to cyclone Alfred, I tried to contact on several occasions to reschedule. Left several messages on message bank and have received no response. So, I had to forego my booking and stay elsewhere. A totally unsatisfactory experience.

Hi Hugh, Thank you for your email. We apologise for the lack of communication. As you can imagine, we were dealing with hundreds of calls and emails regarding extensions, cancellations and amendments. We also lost power to our telephone lines due to the cyclone and this affected our messages which were all wiped. In the future we suggest leaving an email as per the voice messaging system, calling Accor reservations or using the Accor app. As all reservations that were affected by cyclone have the cancellation policy waived, we will send you an email with a credit card authorisation form within the next few days so we can action you your deserved refund.
