The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Good place to stay for one night on the front or back end of a trip since it is close to The airport, and also very handy to DFO for any last minute shopping needs. Checking in was more difficult Than I expected with inability to check in early, and then getting attitude from the manager of the reception desk when I simply asked when I could check in. Everybody else I encountered at the hotel was friendly, it that guy was not a good hospitality agent.

Overall we had a nice stay but I was disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. We had to ask for sheets to be replaced on one of the beds. And the bath tub/ shower was covered in hair. The room felt like it had not been cleaned from the guests before. Staff were very lovely and helpful and changed the sheets for us straight away

typical airport hotel. I object to being checked in by some machine. This creates an inpersonal and faceless approach by the hotel. I expect this sort of checkin at an Ibis budget not a mid range hotel. Also no apparent room upgrade on arrival and no "goodies" in the room so not sure hat my platnum status got meat the hotel to be honest with you.
